Skill UI

This skill provides comprehensive expertise for senior database administrators to optimize and manage PostgreSQL databases at an advanced level. Use it for deep query analysis via EXPLAIN ANALYZE, implementing advanced features like JSONB indexing, configuring streaming or logical replication, and maintaining database health through VACUUM tuning and monitoring pg_stat views. Ideal for building highly available, high-performance, and resilient system architectures.

Design a PostgreSQL-specific schema. Covers best-practices, data types, indexing, constraints, performance patterns, and advanced features

A specialized, comprehensive workflow designed for optimizing PostgreSQL databases. It guides users through performance assessment, advanced query tuning (using EXPLAIN ANALYZE), defining optimal indexing strategies, fine-tuning configuration parameters (like shared_buffers), and setting up robust maintenance and monitoring practices for production environments.

Set up comprehensive CI/CD pipelines for PostHog integrations using GitHub Actions. This guide covers mocked unit tests (no API key needed), robust integration tests against a development PostHog project, and automated deployment annotations to mark releases in your PostHog timeline. Ideal for developers ensuring data quality and traceability across all environments.

This comprehensive guide provides solutions for common PostHog integration issues, helping developers diagnose and fix tracking failures. It covers critical topics including event capture problems, feature flag misbehavior, API authentication errors (401/429), and user identity fragmentation. Learn best practices for robust data analytics implementation.

This skill provides advanced techniques for optimizing PostHog Cloud usage and reducing associated costs. It covers auditing event volume, implementing intelligent event sampling (e.g., sampling pageviews or autocapture events), filtering bot traffic, and tuning session recording rates. The goal is to maintain critical analytical value while staying within budget limits.

Automates the collection of comprehensive diagnostic evidence for PostHog support tickets. This bundle gathers runtime environment details (Node, Python versions), SDK versions, API connectivity status to US/EU clouds, feature flag settings, event flow testing results, and redacts sensitive environment variables. It provides a structured, support-ready archive for rapid troubleshooting.

This guide details implementing robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within a PostHog Enterprise environment. It covers managing the three-level hierarchy (Organization > Project > Resource), assigning granular member roles (Owner, Admin, Member), configuring scoped API keys for secure integrations, and enforcing enterprise-grade authentication via SSO/SAML. Includes steps for setting up project permissions and auditing system changes.

A comprehensive runbook for rapidly responding to PostHog integration failures. It provides detailed triage steps and troubleshooting guides for common API errors (401, 429, etc.), determining the root cause, and implementing graceful degradation patterns to ensure core application functionality remains stable during an outage.

This comprehensive guide details how to properly set up PostHog for multiple environments (development, staging, production). It emphasizes data isolation by utilizing separate projects, allowing granular control over critical analytics features such as session recording rates, autocapture, and feature flag rollout percentages. This ensures accurate and reliable data tracking across all deployment stages, preventing test data from polluting production analytics.

Monitor the operational health of PostHog integrations by tracking critical metrics. This skill checks event ingestion rates, feature flag evaluation latency, and monitors billing volume consumption. It also provides rules for Prometheus/Grafana alerting, ensuring data pipelines remain stable and alerting on potential performance bottlenecks or exceeding API limits.

A comprehensive guide to implementing production-ready patterns for PostHog analytics integration. This includes establishing singleton clients for both server-side (Python/Node) and client-side environments. It provides type-safe event capture utilities, React hooks for handling feature flags (including variants), and the full Next.js App Router setup for robust pageview tracking. Patterns are available for both TypeScript/JavaScript and Python environments.
