A comprehensive guide detailing the multi-stage academic conference paper review process, such as EMNLP's two-stage pipeline. It covers strategic elements like understanding the difference between Soundness and Excitement scores, optimizing the author response for the Area Chair's meta-review, and managing resubmission dynamics to maximize acceptance chances.

A comprehensive guide detailing the strict requirements for submitting research papers to EMNLP via the ACL Rolling Review (ARR). Key areas covered include template compliance, page length restrictions (long/short format), mandatory limitations sections, double-blind anonymization techniques, and adherence to the Responsible NLP checklist. Use this audit guide before submission to ensure full compliance and avoid desk-rejects.

This guide outlines best practices for structuring advanced NLP/AI research papers for academic submission. It details the critical differences between core content pages, mandatory limitations sections, discretionary appendices, and supplementary uploads, ensuring that reviewers are properly guided and that the work remains reproducible and verifiable.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding where to submit an empirical NLP paper. It outlines EMNLP's focus on empirical methods, provides an 'empirical-identity test,' and compares submissions across major venues (ACL, ML, CoNLL, etc.) to help authors choose the most suitable program and pitch.

A comprehensive project management guide for preparing and submitting advanced NLP conference papers to EMNLP. It details the entire research lifecycle, including backward planning from ARR deadlines, managing data annotation timelines, coordinating team roles, and making strategic decisions (commit, revise, withdraw) to ensure successful submission.

A comprehensive guide detailing the empirical writing style required for EMNLP submissions. It emphasizes scoping claims to specific datasets and languages, ensuring examples are load-bearing, structuring the argument phenomenon-first, and accurately calibrating hedging language based on evidence strength.

This guide provides a comprehensive strategy for authors submitting NLP and Computational Linguistics papers to EACL. It covers conference positioning, manuscript re-framing from journal or arXiv styles, and establishes rigorous evidence standards. It helps authors ensure their work aligns with the European ACL community focus, optimizing the paper's narrative structure for high acceptance rates.

This skill helps authors determine if their manuscript fits the International Conference on Computational Linguistics (COLING). It provides guidance on conference positioning, evidence requirements, framing, and submission checks. It ensures linguistic grounding and NLP relevance are visible to reviewers. Use it for venue selection, re-framing papers from journal style, and diagnosing submission risks like desk rejection. Always verify official CFPs before submission.

A comprehensive guide for researchers targeting the International Natural Language Generation Conference (INLG). This tool helps authors refine their manuscript by providing specific architectural advice on framing the contribution, establishing necessary evidence (e.g., rigorous evaluation, controllability metrics), and positioning the work correctly against related fields like dialogue and LLM generation. It ensures the paper meets the high standards expected by top NLP venues.

This guide provides comprehensive best practices for packaging and documenting NLP research artifacts (datasets, models, prompts, etc.) for academic submission (e.g., NAACL/ARR). It emphasizes rigorous provenance tracing, ensuring reproducibility, and ethically handling sensitive data, particularly community-owned or indigenous language resources.

This guide details the critical process of transforming an accepted, anonymous conference paper into its final, published, open-access version for the ACL Anthology. It covers the essential 'three-source merge' process: integrating reviewer-promised revisions, restoring author identity and community acknowledgements, correcting metadata, and managing conference logistics. Essential reading for authors submitting to top-tier NLP venues like NAACL.

This guide provides an expert methodology for designing and auditing Natural Language Processing (NLP) experiments for top-tier academic submissions. It instructs researchers on how to map meta-review claims to measurable evidence, ensure budget-fair comparisons, and systematically address potential reviewer probes (scope, fairness, contamination, etc.) to maximize publication rigor.
