Skill UI

A comprehensive guide detailing how to transform an Unreal Engine 5 project into a runnable, distributable build. It covers all aspects of the build pipeline, including selecting appropriate configurations (Development vs. Shipping), cooking content, setting the game default map, and executing the build via both the editor GUI and the command line (RunUAT BuildCookRun). Essential for releasing stable, optimized games.

This skill enables applying John Ousterhout's design principles to reduce complexity in software systems. It guides decisions on module boundaries, API design, information hiding, and abstraction depth. Use it when refactoring shallow interfaces or managing cognitive load during development. Ideal for architects and senior engineers optimizing system structure and ensuring maintainable codebases through proper abstraction layers.

This skill covers core principles for 2D game development, including sprite systems, atlases, tilemaps, physics engines, and camera controls. It addresses genre-specific patterns like platformers and top-down games. Suitable for frameworks like Phaser, Kaplay, Pixi, or Canvas. Also applies to guest viewports in hybrid web apps. Focuses on performance optimization, collision handling, and animation techniques to ensure clarity and smooth gameplay.

This skill provides guidelines for senior backend engineers building production-grade services using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript. It covers layered architecture, error handling, validation with Zod, configuration management, and directory structure to ensure maintainability and reliability.

A workflow for building features guided by data insights, A/B testing, and continuous measurement, covering exploratory data analysis, hypothesis formation, experiment design, analytics instrumentation, and implementation.

This comprehensive workflow covers the entire database lifecycle, including design, implementation, optimization, migration, and data engineering. It supports SQL and NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Key phases include schema design, ORM setup, query performance tuning, data pipeline creation, quality assurance, and operational management. Ideal for developers and data engineers managing modern data platforms.

This skill covers the full lifecycle of Docker containers, including building optimized images, managing container lifecycles, configuring networking and volumes, and implementing security best practices. It includes troubleshooting container issues, debugging, and deploying applications efficiently in development and production environments using Docker Engine commands and best practices.

This skill enforces strict architectural and performance standards for senior frontend engineers. It guides the creation of scalable React applications using Suspense-first data fetching, feature-based organization, and strict TypeScript discipline. Use it when building components, adding features, fetching data, or refactoring code to ensure maintainability and performance.

Orchestrates game development projects by routing to specialized sub-skills based on platform, dimension, and engine fit. Covers core principles like game loop, pattern selection, input abstraction, performance budgets, AI, and collision strategies. Use when starting or structuring a game project, choosing frameworks, or picking among Phaser, PixiJS, Kaplay, Three.js, Godot, Unity, and more.

Engine selection and platform-specific principles for PC and console games. Covers Unity, Godot and Unreal comparison, Steam and console certification features, controller action mapping, haptics, and profiling-driven performance optimization.

This skill scaffolds the necessary configurations for advanced engineering workflows. It guides the user through setting up the issue tracking system (GitHub, GitLab, or local markdown), defining the canonical triage label vocabulary, and establishing the domain documentation context (single or multi-context). It must be run once to initialize the repository for subsequent agent-driven development skills.

Squirrel is an advanced, full-cycle AI coding skill designed to guide software development from concept to production. It automatically detects the current project state (greenfield, in-progress, or mature) and adapts an 8-phase engineering pipeline. This comprehensive workflow covers planning, building, rigorous testing, bug hunting, code polishing, documentation, and deployment readiness, ensuring high-quality, maintainable results.
