A comprehensive guide covering fundamental principles for creating 2D games. It details best practices for sprite organization (atlases, animation), tilemap design, physics implementation (collision shapes, fixed timestep), camera systems (follow, look-ahead), and genre-specific patterns like platformers and top-down games. Essential for game developers building robust 2D experiences.

Designs and executes chaos experiments, failure-injection frameworks, and game days for distributed systems, providing runbooks, manifests, rollback plans, and continuous resilience automation in CI/CD.

A comprehensive guide covering the core principles of immersive game audio. Learn how to structure audio categories (SFX, Music, Ambient), implement adaptive music systems, master 3D spatialization, and apply professional mixing techniques (e.g., ducking, hierarchy) to elevate the emotional impact and technical quality of your game's soundscape. Essential for sound designers and game developers.

This skill guides the full lifecycle of game development, from architecture design (ECS, component systems) to high-performance implementation. It covers integrating Unity/Unreal Engine features, implementing complex physics, multiplayer networking with lag compensation, and achieving consistent 60+ FPS performance. Key techniques include object pooling, state machines, and rigorous profiling to ensure production-ready, scalable game systems.

This orchestrator skill provides comprehensive core principles for game development, covering topics like the Game Loop, design patterns (State Machine, ECS), performance budgeting, and input abstraction. It guides users by routing them to specialized sub-skills based on required platforms (Web, Mobile, PC), dimensions (2D, 3D), and specialty areas (AI, Networking, Art). Ideal for structuring complex game projects from concept to implementation.

This guide provides comprehensive principles for developing games specifically for mobile platforms. It covers essential technical constraints and best practices, including optimizing for touch input, managing battery life and thermal performance, adhering to platform-specific requirements (iOS/Android), and selecting appropriate monetization models. Use this when designing highly optimized, user-centric mobile gaming experiences.

This skill provides production-grade patterns for Unity's Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS). It covers essential components like Entity Component System (ECS), the Job System, and the Burst Compiler, enabling developers to build high-performance, scalable games. Use this when optimizing CPU-bound logic, managing thousands of entities, or migrating traditional OOP game code to a data-oriented design.

This comprehensive skill transforms raw game concepts into fully actionable, structured Unity development projects. It guides users through a five-phase pipeline, generating detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs), technical scene blueprints, core system architectures, and ready-to-use AI prompts for assets (3D models, textures, music, SFX). Ideal for concept validation and starting a complex game project from scratch.

This skill guides the safe execution of chaos engineering experiments to surface weaknesses in production systems without causing actual outages. It provides tools to design robust experiments by defining hypotheses, calculating the potential 'blast radius' before failure injection, setting strict abort criteria, and generating structured postmortems. Ideal for SRE teams running game days and resilience tests.

Design responsive game cameras: 2D smooth follow with deadzone, look-ahead, and level-bounds clamping; 3D third-person orbit with collision push-in; first-person look; multi-target framing; and a shake hook. Use with any engine or camera rig system.

Build branching dialogue and narrative graphs with conditions, variables, and localization. Choose between Ink, Yarn Spinner, or custom runners for engine-neutral implementation. Ideal for RPGs and visual novels to manage NPC conversations and narrative state effectively.

Design NPC and enemy decision-making with finite state machines, behavior trees, steering behaviors, and A* pathfinding. Use for enemy AI, FSM, behavior trees, flocking, or pathfinding in games.
