Skill UI

This skill guides the design and implementation of complex GraphQL APIs. It specializes in schema design, utilizing Apollo Federation for distributed microservices, optimizing resolvers with DataLoader for N+1 prevention, and implementing real-time subscriptions. It covers security, complexity analysis, and adherence to best practices for building scalable, high-performance graph architectures.

Guidance for building robust GraphQL services: schema design with Relay-style pagination, resolver patterns that leverage per-request DataLoader for N+1 prevention, subscription handling, and structured error payloads to simplify client integrations.

Guides API developers through building well-structured GraphQL mutations with best-practice patterns, production-ready code, and validation help whenever “graphql mutation builder” appears in the request.

Automates GraphQL schema generation within API development, guiding REST/GraphQL/OpenAPI design, producing production-ready code/configurations validated against standards.

Automates GraphQL subscription onboarding for API development, guiding best practices, code scaffolding, and validation when configuring real-time endpoints.

Auto-activating skill provides guidance for HTTP method helper tasks, covering REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, authentication, and API design patterns while producing production-ready code and validations.

Automatically guides API developers through creating hypermedia link generators, covering REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, authentication, and design patterns while producing validated code and configurations that follow best practices.

This guide details how to use the official @linear/sdk to interact with the Linear project management API. It covers performing core CRUD operations, such as creating new issues, listing teams, querying issue states, and performing raw GraphQL requests. Ideal for developers needing to integrate Linear into a custom workflow, test API connectivity, or learn foundational automation patterns.

A comprehensive guide to optimizing interactions with the Linear API. Learn advanced techniques to improve application performance by eliminating N+1 queries, implementing robust caching strategies for static data (e.g., teams, states), managing cache invalidation via webhooks, and efficiently batching multiple mutations into single GraphQL requests. Essential for building scalable, low-latency SaaS applications.

This guide provides advanced techniques for managing API rate limits (429 errors) and complexity budgets when interacting with the Linear API. It covers reading rate limit headers, implementing exponential backoff with jitter for robust retries, controlling request bursts via token buckets, and optimizing GraphQL queries to minimize complexity scores. Use this when developing reliable integrations that must adhere to strict API quotas.

A comprehensive guide covering advanced patterns for the Linear SDK using TypeScript/JavaScript. Learn how to implement efficient cursor-based pagination, avoid N+1 query problems by batch-loading relations, perform complex filtering, and handle API calls with type-safe error management when integrating with the Linear GraphQL API.

This comprehensive workflow guides the process of building and deploying new features that must maintain consistent functionality and design across multiple operating systems (web, mobile, and desktop). It strictly follows an API-first architecture, starting with defining shared API contracts (OpenAPI/GraphQL) and a unified design system. The process then guides parallel implementation across specialized stacks like React/Next.js, SwiftUI, and Jetpack Compose, ensuring high code consistency and faster time-to-market.
