Skill UI

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for optimizing costs within Guidewire Cloud environments. It covers crucial areas such as rightsizing cloud compute instances, optimizing batch process scheduling to off-peak hours, reducing API call expenses through effective caching, and implementing bulk endpoints instead of individual calls. It is essential for cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and development teams managing large-scale insurance SaaS platforms.

This skill provides comprehensive data handling capabilities specifically for the Guidewire platform. It covers robust entity management (CRUD operations using Gosu), complex data migration using ETL tools and batch processing, and advanced data governance practices. Key features include implementing GDPR data purge rules and anonymization techniques for secure testing environments. Ideal for developers managing core insurance platform data.

This bundle is designed to collect comprehensive diagnostic data from the Guidewire ecosystem. It captures critical information including Cloud API responses, Gosu stack traces, server logs, OAuth token status, and batch process statuses. Use it to aid in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis within Guidewire applications.

A comprehensive guide for implementing and managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). It details role hierarchies (Admin, Underwriter, Claims Adjuster), permission checking logic using APIs, and best practices for ensuring regulatory compliance (NAIC, DOI). Includes code examples for user provisioning and audit logging.

This skill provides foundational examples for interacting with Guidewire's core cloud APIs, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. It demonstrates how to execute initial RESTful API calls, query resources (like accounts and claims), and understand common API response structures, pagination, and error handling patterns. Ideal for connectivity testing, learning Guidewire's REST structure, and prototyping basic insurance integrations.

This guide provides a comprehensive setup process for Guidewire InsuranceSuite development. It covers installing Guidewire Studio, configuring secure OAuth2 authentication via Guidewire Hub, and obtaining necessary JWT tokens for connecting to core APIs like PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. Essential for developers integrating with the Guidewire platform.

This skill provides a comprehensive deep dive into migrating from legacy or self-managed insurance systems to Guidewire Cloud. It covers the entire migration lifecycle, including initial system assessment, product configuration, complex data migration (policies, claims, accounts via ETL), API integration cutover, and final UAT to go-live stages. It is designed for technical teams planning a major platform upgrade.

A comprehensive toolkit designed to monitor the health and performance of Guidewire InsuranceSuite. It tracks critical operational metrics including claim processing times, policy synchronization rates, billing accuracy, API latency, and batch job statuses. The system provides real-time alerting, structured logging, and health checks to maintain high service level agreements (SLAs) for complex insurance workflows.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance on optimizing Guidewire application performance. It covers advanced development techniques such as optimizing Gosu queries using the Query API, implementing efficient batch processing with BatchProcessBase, implementing caching strategies for frequently accessed reference data, and performing JVM heap tuning via the Guidewire Cloud Console (GCC). Use this when system performance bottlenecks are detected in Guidewire insurance or core business platforms.

This comprehensive checklist verifies the readiness of Guidewire Cloud for production deployment. It covers critical steps including Gosu compilation validation, GUnit test execution, API role configuration, integration gateway endpoint testing, batch process scheduling verification, and monitoring alert setup. It guides the promotion of configurations through dev, staging, and production environments via GCC.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance and tools for managing rate limits, quotas, and throttling when integrating with the Guidewire Cloud API. It is essential for high-volume, mission-critical integrations, advising on best practices like implementing exponential backoff for 429 responses and optimizing batch operations using bulk endpoints to ensure system stability and throughput.

This guide outlines critical security measures for integrating with Guidewire systems, which handle sensitive policyholder PII, claims, and financial data. It covers best practices for implementing OAuth2 JWT authentication, API role scoping, input validation, and sensitive data redaction (PII) to prevent data breaches and meet compliance standards.
