Provides paragraph-level structural blueprints and venue-specific checklists for 10–12 page systems conference submissions (OSDI/SOSP/ASPLOS/NSDI/EuroSys), covering writing patterns, reviewer guidance, LaTeX templates, and deadline tracking.

A comprehensive guide for authors evaluating whether their computer networking manuscript is a strong fit for the ACM SIGCOMM conference. It covers proper paper framing, required technical scope, necessary evidence (e.g., measurement and implementation), and how to position the work against peer venues like INFOCOM and NSDI. Use this when preparing a paper for a major networking conference.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to determine the optimal venue for their computer systems paper. It teaches the critical differences between broad, practical conferences (like ATC) and selective, specialized venues (like OSDI, SOSP, or NSDI). The guide helps authors assess whether their work is novel, useful, focused on deployed experience, or requires specific networking/storage expertise.

This guide helps researchers determine the most appropriate top-tier academic conference (e.g., CoNEXT, SIGCOMM, NSDI, IMC) and submission cycle for their networking research. It provides detailed criteria, routing tables, and tests (e.g., platform-realism test, model-swap test) to ensure the contribution is evaluated on a real target and fits the target community's scope and rigor.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding the optimal conference venue (e.g., FAST, OSDI, NSDI, ATC) for their storage-related academic work. It advises on distinguishing a core storage contribution from general systems results, detailing specific contribution shapes FAST rewards, and providing routing logic based on the project's nature and evidence maturity.

This guide helps researchers determine if their core contribution—a mobile or embedded system, application, or service running on a device—is best suited for the MobiSys conference. It provides detailed criteria for venue selection, distinguishing between contributions for MobiSys, MobiCom, SenSys, NSDI/OSDI, and other related top-tier venues, ensuring authors route their work to the most appropriate academic community.

This comprehensive guide assists researchers in determining the appropriate scope and venue for their networked systems research. It details the core requirements for top-tier conferences like NSDI, distinguishing between Research, Operational Systems, and Frontiers tracks. Furthermore, it provides critical routing advice for differentiating contributions between related venues such as OSDI, SIGCOMM, and FAST, ensuring the work aligns with the correct technical focus.

This guide provides expert advice on structuring the "Related Work" section for top-tier systems conferences (like OSDI, SOSP, NSDI). It emphasizes that the section must function as a "difference ledger," detailing the mechanism-level distinctions between your proposed system and all prior art. Learn how to categorize competitors, cite historical ancestors, manage anonymity, and rigorously verify all venue citations to maximize impact.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding the optimal venue for systems projects, such as OSDI, SOSP, or NSDI. It provides structured tests (built-and-measured, operational experience) and scoping criteria to help authors determine if their work is a research contribution or a production-level lesson, ensuring projects are routed to the correct academic conference before significant time is spent writing.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding if their networking contribution (mechanism, architecture, or protocol) is a strong fit for SIGCOMM. It provides criteria for distinguishing between research novelty and real-world experience, and routes the work to similar top venues like NSDI, MobiCom, and IMC based on the core technical signal.

A comprehensive guide for positioning a paper for ACM SoCC. It instructs authors to write the related work section by bridging both systems literature (e.g., OSDI, NSDI) and data-management literature (e.g., SIGMOD, VLDB). Focus must be on stating the 'delta'—the unique difference—rather than merely listing citations, ensuring dual anonymity and covering all relevant technical lanes.

This guide helps researchers evaluate if their systems project meets the standards of top-tier conferences like SOSP. It details the critical 'SOSP shape test'—requiring an extractable Principle, a real Embodiment, and evidence at the claim's scale. It provides a routing table to recommend the most appropriate venue (e.g., OSDI, NSDI) based on the project's center of gravity.
