Skill UI

This skill enables developers to build Expo development clients using EAS Build for testing native code changes on physical devices. It is recommended for real or production apps instead of Expo Go, supporting local modules, Apple targets, and third-party native modules. Users configure eas.json with developmentClient settings and use commands like eas build to create iOS or Android builds for TestFlight or local installation.

This guide covers creating and writing Expo native modules and views using the Expo Modules API. It supports Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android, and TypeScript. Topics include module definition DSL, native views, shared objects, config plugins, lifecycle hooks, autolinking, and type system. Ideal for adding native functionality like camera or sensors to Expo apps.

A portable, framework-agnostic architecture style for React and React Native frontends. Organizes apps into feature modules with page/screen directories, a strict server-state vs UI-state split, barrel-only cross-module imports, co-located styles, and clear component-promotion rules. Applies to Next.js, Vite, Remix, Expo, and any state/styling stack.

This skill provides production-ready architectural patterns for building robust mobile applications using React Native and Expo. It covers complex topics like state management, sophisticated navigation flow, integrating native modules, and implementing offline-first capabilities. It is ideal for starting new projects or optimizing existing large-scale React Native applications.
