This guide provides methods to implement robust data handling, secret detection, and compliance patterns within code reviews (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). It teaches users how to configure CodeRabbit to exclude sensitive files (like .env or keys), detect hardcoded secrets, limit the review scope to active source code, and ensure that PII is properly handled during the CI/CD process.

Collects comprehensive diagnostic evidence for troubleshooting CodeRabbit integration issues. This bundle checks the App installation status, validates the `.coderabbit.yaml` configuration, reviews recent PR history, and verifies GitHub webhook deliveries. Essential for preparing support tickets and diagnosing complex SaaS integration failures.

This skill guides the comprehensive, multi-step rollout of CodeRabbit AI code review across an entire organization. It covers setting organization-level defaults, customizing team-specific review rules (e.g., API security, frontend performance), and automating deployment via multi-repo scripts and branch protection enforcement. Use when establishing standardized, high-quality AI code review practices company-wide.

Manages CodeRabbit's enterprise access control, seat assignment, and organization-wide policies. This is crucial for large organizations needing centralized control over who receives AI code reviews, defining global coding standards via YAML, and implementing granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across multiple repositories and teams. Use when scaling AI code quality checks across multiple departments.

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for setting up automated AI code reviews using CodeRabbit. It covers creating the necessary `.coderabbit.yaml` configuration file, defining path-specific instructions, triggering reviews via Pull Requests (PRs), and interacting with the feedback using PR comments or the local CLI. Essential for integrating quality gates into CI/CD workflows.

A comprehensive runbook for handling CodeRabbit service outages or malfunctions. It provides step-by-step procedures for quick triage, emergency bypasses (P1), checking installation health (P2), diagnosing delays (P3), and tuning incorrect review behavior (P4). Essential for maintaining continuous CI/CD workflows when the review bot fails.

A comprehensive guide on installing and configuring CodeRabbit AI, an advanced AI-powered code review platform. Learn how to integrate CodeRabbit into your GitHub or GitLab repositories via App installation, CLI setup, and YAML configuration. Use this guide when setting up the service for the first time or connecting it to new repositories to ensure automated, high-quality code reviews on every pull request.

Configure CodeRabbit CLI to integrate AI-powered code reviews directly into your local development loop. This workflow allows developers to run comprehensive, AI-driven reviews against staged or unstaged changes before committing or pushing to a remote repository. It establishes a crucial 'two-layer' review process, providing instant, fast feedback at the local CLI level, complementing the formal PR review process. This tool is essential for maintaining high code quality and consistency during rapid development cycles.

A comprehensive, phased guide detailing how to migrate your code review process to CodeRabbit. It covers the entire journey, from assessing current tools (like SonarCloud, DeepSource, or manual reviews) and mapping existing rules, through to running a parallel pilot phase and finally achieving full adoption. Ideal for engineering managers or DevOps teams planning a major CI/CD tool transition.

This skill details how to configure CodeRabbit review behavior using a `.coderabbit.yaml` file placed on base branches. It enables setting tailored code quality gates across the development lifecycle, allowing for relaxed reviews on feature branches and highly stringent, security-focused checks for production or release environments, ensuring quality matches risk.

Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of AI code reviews using CodeRabbit. This skill calculates critical metrics including review coverage percentage, time-to-first-review, and comment acceptance rates. It is ideal for building organizational dashboards to maintain high code quality and optimize development workflows.

This guide provides a comprehensive method for optimizing CodeRabbit's review process, focusing on improving speed, relevance, and the signal-to-noise ratio. Learn best practices for managing PR size, selecting the right review profile (e.g., 'assertive' vs. 'chill'), using path instructions to guide feedback, and filtering out low-value files. Ideal for teams looking to reduce review fatigue and ensure consistent code quality checks.
