Implement comprehensive GDPR and CCPA compliance measures within Supabase. This skill guides developers on setting up Row Level Security (RLS) for tenant isolation, managing PII columns, executing right-to-deletion workflows, auditing sensitive data, and establishing automated data retention policies. Essential for any SaaS application handling regulated user data.

This tool collects a comprehensive, redacted diagnostic bundle from a Supabase project. It systematically tests connectivity, authentication (Auth), Realtime capabilities, Storage buckets, and Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. The resulting archive is designed for sharing with support teams to accelerate troubleshooting of complex issues like connection failures or misconfigurations.

This comprehensive skill guides the full lifecycle management of Supabase projects in a production environment. It covers essential DevOps practices, including running database migrations, deploying Edge Functions, managing secrets, implementing zero-downtime blue/green rollouts, and executing robust rollback procedures and post-deployment health checks. Ideal for ensuring stable and reliable production deployments.

Implements a robust, enterprise-grade Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system for Supabase. This skill teaches how to store custom roles (e.g., admin, editor, viewer) in JWT claims (`app_metadata`), enforce granular permissions, and scope access at the row level using PostgreSQL RLS policies. It covers organization scoping, role hierarchy management, and API key protection.

This guide demonstrates the fundamental "Hello World" query using the Supabase JS/Python client. It covers creating a structured table, enabling Row Level Security (RLS), inserting a record, and successfully selecting it back. This is essential for verifying project connectivity, understanding the basic data round-trip pattern, and mastering initial database interactions in a new Supabase environment.

A comprehensive guide for structured incident response when a Supabase-backed application fails. This runbook guides users through triaging issues, verifying platform status, inspecting connection pools, debugging stuck queries using pg_stat_activity, and analyzing Edge Function logs. Essential for root cause analysis and escalating issues to support.

This comprehensive guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up a complete connection to a Supabase backend. It covers installing the necessary SDKs (for TypeScript and Python) and the CLI, securely configuring environment variables (URL, anon key, service role key), and initializing the client singleton for both client-side and server-side applications. Essential for new project development and authentication integration.

A comprehensive guide detailing the most common and critical mistakes when developing with Supabase. Covers severe security issues (like exposing service role keys or missing RLS), data integrity failures, and performance bottlenecks (connection pooling, N+1 queries). Essential for code review, onboarding new developers, or auditing existing Supabase projects to ensure secure and robust applications.

Master advanced techniques for scaling Supabase projects to handle high production load. This skill covers six critical layers: implementing read replicas for analytics, optimizing connectivity using connection pooling (Supavisor), upgrading compute resources, utilizing CDN caching for Storage, deploying Edge Functions regionally, and performing database table partitioning. Ideal for engineers preparing for traffic spikes or optimizing large-scale database architectures.

This comprehensive guide details the complete workflow for setting up and maintaining a local Supabase development environment. It utilizes Docker and the Supabase CLI to run the entire full-stack service (Postgres, Auth, Storage, etc.) locally. It guides developers through initialization, creating version-controlled migrations using diff, seeding data, and performing clean database resets, ensuring local iteration accurately mirrors production capabilities.

This comprehensive deep dive guides you through the entire database migration lifecycle using the Supabase CLI. Learn best practices for executing zero-downtime schema changes, safely backfilling data in production, managing schema versioning across environments, and implementing robust rollback strategies. Covers advanced PostgreSQL concepts like concurrent indexing and multi-phase column renaming.

This skill guides the setup of a robust, multi-environment architecture for Supabase, ensuring complete data isolation between development, staging, and production projects. It covers best practices for managing separate environment-specific secrets, safe database migration promotion (db push), environment-aware client initialization, and implementing safeguards to prevent accidental cross-environment operations in production. Essential for scaling SaaS applications.
