This guide outlines the structure and content guidelines for an AGENTS.md file. This file serves as a comprehensive 'README for agents,' providing detailed, technical context and operational instructions (such as setup, development workflow, testing procedures, and code style) that enable advanced AI coding agents to interact with and understand a codebase effectively. It greatly complements traditional READMEs by focusing purely on machine-readable technical requirements.

This comprehensive checklist guides the safe and robust deployment of Cohere API v2 integrations from staging to production. It covers critical steps including API key management, code quality standards, performance tuning, implementing health checks and circuit breakers, and defining full rollback procedures, ensuring mission-critical AI features are reliable for launch.

The Ejentum Reasoning Harness is a comprehensive library of cognitive operations designed to guide complex AI agents through critical thinking tasks. It exposes four specialized harnesses (reasoning, code, anti-deception, memory) that mitigate common failure modes like hallucination and reasoning decay. Instead of a fixed answer, the agent ingests a detailed, executable scaffold—including failure patterns, procedures, and falsification tests—to ensure robust, self-verified output.

This guide outlines the rigorous methodological standards for empirical work in AI fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAccT). It advises researchers on matching specific claims (e.g., disparate harm) to appropriate evidence types—including disaggregated metrics, coded qualitative data, and documented ethical procedures. It stresses the importance of ethical review, handling protected attributes, and acknowledging limitations to ensure high scientific and ethical rigor.
