Skill UI

This skill assists researchers in assessing the suitability of their experimental robotics manuscript for the International Symposium on Experimental Robotics (ISER). It provides detailed guidance on conference fit, required experimental evidence, scope re-framing, and positioning relative to other major robotics venues, ensuring the work emphasizes real-world validation and empirical findings.

A comprehensive guide for authors positioning robotics research papers for top-tier conferences like ISRR. It helps assess scope fit, define the required evidence bar, re-frame content from journal/arXiv styles, and strategically compare the manuscript against similar venues (e.g., CoRL, ICRA). Ideal for optimizing conference submission strategy in embodied intelligence and foundational robotics.

This detailed guide helps researchers pre-write their papers by evaluating if their intelligent robotic system is a strong fit for IROS or other top-tier conferences (ICRA, RSS, CoRL). It emphasizes the importance of demonstrating integrated systems (perception, planning, control) on real hardware under defined embodiment constraints, ensuring the contribution is demonstrably hard and system-based.

This comprehensive guide helps authors determine if their robotics manuscript is suitable for the RoboCup Symposium. It provides specialized advice on conference positioning, required evidence (e.g., league performance, benchmarks), and framing for competitive robotics domains like robot soccer, rescue, and service robots. It emphasizes grounding the contribution in empirical, competition-based evidence rather than general theoretical work, serving as a fit and re-framing tool for high-level CI/AI submissions.

This comprehensive guide helps authors determine the suitability and optimal presentation of their robotics scientific manuscripts for the Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) conference. It provides strategic advice on conference positioning, defining the evidence bar, re-framing algorithmic or theoretical contributions, and addressing the specific needs of top-tier embodied systems reviewers.

A rigorous framework for designing reproducible and scientifically sound experiments in robotics and AI, specifically for academic publication (e.g., RSS). It guides users to shift focus from simple system demonstration to testing a falsifiable scientific claim. Key areas covered include deriving conditions from a claim, establishing hardware trial protocols, managing simulation vs. real-world evidence splits, and performing detailed failure attribution analysis.

This skill guides authors on positioning foundational and conceptually general robotics research for submission to The International Journal of Robotics Research (IJRR). It evaluates the manuscript's depth, generality, and conceptual framework, helping authors re-frame single-demonstration results into field-advancing principles. It also assists in choosing between IJRR and competing venues like IEEE Transactions on Robotics (T-RO).
