Skill UI

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for designing optimal team structures for early-stage startups. It covers role-by-role hiring plans, compensation benchmarks (salary and total compensation), and equity allocation strategies, guiding founders from Pre-Seed through Series A to ensure scalable growth and proper talent investment.

Explains any startup equity, legal, or term sheet question—SAFE notes, convertible rounds, and preferred stock—while covering both investor and founder lenses and flagging red flags or negotiable points.

Use to clarify distinctions between accounting and finance concepts such as cash flow vs profit, EBIT vs EBITDA, CapEx vs OpEx, debt vs equity, and ROI vs ROE. Ideal for calculators, due diligence, dashboards, investor memos, and client-facing financial explanations.

A drafting-and-review copilot for founders'/co-founders' agreements, covering equity split, vesting, IP assignment, roles, control, departure and deadlock. Jurisdiction-agnostic, anchored on Delaware C-corp defaults. Drafts for the venture, not one founder against another. Not legal advice.

Design optimal team structures, hiring plans, compensation benchmarks, and equity allocation for early-stage startups from pre-seed through Series A, with stage-by-stage role planning.

Designs a minimal diversity, equity and inclusion dashboard: metrics by department and period, values against targets, group size with a minimum-threshold flag. Produces CSV, SQL, JSON or Notion templates using voluntary, anonymised data only.

Tracks ESOP and equity grants including grant dates, shares, strike prices, vesting schedules, cliffs, and vested/exercised shares. Recommends a minimal setup and generates CSV, SQL, JSON, or Notion artifacts on request.
