Skill UI

This skill acts as an orchestrator for interdisciplinary academic essays, guiding users through the entire writing lifecycle of a Critical Inquiry (CI) piece. It diagnoses the project stage, determines the appropriate format (Article, Critical Response, Review), and ensures the core argument is centered on a strong, interdisciplinary theoretical intervention, preventing content drift and structural gaps.

This guide assists researchers in elevating a simple observed 'effect' into a theoretically robust and conceptually advanced research contribution suitable for the Journal of Consumer Research (JCR). It provides frameworks for assessing interdisciplinary relevance, distinguishing between behavioral and interpretive genres, and ensuring the question genuinely advances existing consumer theory.

This comprehensive skill guides authors targeting Research Policy. It details the journal's scope, required evidence standards, house style, and common publishing pitfalls. It helps authors frame their work to fit the interdisciplinary field of innovation studies (STI), covering topics from R&D and technology policy to economic implications.
