Skill UI

This skill provides a rigorous framework for defending the methodology of advanced educational research manuscripts, suitable for top-tier academic journals. It guides users through defining research structure across quantitative (e.g., multilevel, quasi-experimental), qualitative (e.g., ethnography, case study), and mixed methods paradigms. Focus areas include addressing rival explanations, ensuring measurement validity, establishing causal claims, and meeting stringent reporting standards (AERA).

Provides a comprehensive framework for defending the methodological rigor of comparative social science research. This skill guides users through establishing comparative leverage, whether in cross-national panel data, case-based comparisons, or natural experiments. It emphasizes techniques like causal inference, process tracing, and ruling out rival theoretical accounts to strengthen the study's claims.

A comprehensive guide for qualitative theory-building, covering multi-case comparison, grounded theory, and advanced methodological rigor. Learn how to structure your study by defining case selection logic, conducting multi-level coding (open, axial, selective), ensuring theoretical saturation, and establishing trustworthiness through triangulation, member checking, and audit trails. Ideal for papers built inductively from interviews or archives.

This skill guides authors submitting work related to Operations Research (OR). It helps assess whether a manuscript provides a genuine theoretical or methodological advance in fields like optimization, stochastic processes, queueing theory, and mathematical modeling. It emphasizes the necessity of rigorous proofs, mathematical depth, and positioning the contribution against existing OR literature, rather than merely presenting a case study application.
