Skill UI

This skill is a comprehensive strategic guide for authors targeting the ACM Conference on Recommender Systems (RecSys). It helps assess the fit of a manuscript, guides the re-framing of work from journal or arXiv styles into a specialized conference narrative, and outlines specific requirements for evidence, evaluation (including offline metrics, user context, and leakage-aware methods), and contribution framing necessary for top-tier CS venues.

A comprehensive strategic guide for authors targeting the ACM International Conference on Multimedia Retrieval (ICMR). This skill helps authors assess the fit of their multimedia retrieval, cross-modal search, or representation learning work for the venue. It provides specific advice on framing the contribution, defining necessary evidence (e.g., ranking metrics, baselines), and structuring the manuscript to meet ICMR's high standards.

This guide assists authors targeting the ACM SIGMOD conference. It provides expert advice on positioning, framing, and structuring database systems papers. It emphasizes strong algorithmic or systems contributions, realistic workloads, and necessary evidence, while also advising on routing relative to similar venues like VLDB and ICDE.

This skill acts as an academic positioning tool for targeting high-level journals focused on institutional and economic comparison, such as the Comparative Economic and Social Systems journal. It helps users assess if their manuscript possesses the necessary comparative scope, institutional logic, and generalizable theoretical contribution required for acceptance, guiding manuscript reframing and submission strategy.

This skill guides authors in assessing the suitability and optimal framing of their machine learning research in the health domain for top-tier academic conferences like CHIL. It ensures the manuscript meets the specific evidence standards, emphasizing clinical grounding, fairness, robustness, and deployment constraints, transforming general CS narratives into specialized health ML contributions.

This skill guides authors through the process of evaluating if their general economics manuscript is suitable for high-tier venues like the European Economic Review (EER). It focuses on re-framing niche research to appeal to a broad readership, ensuring methodological rigor, and meeting the stringent standards for both empirical evidence and theoretical contribution, while also detailing common desk-reject triggers.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting visualization research to the EuroVis conference. It provides expert advice on conference positioning, emphasizing specialist novelty and clear analytic value. The skill covers required evidence standards, contribution framing, and differentiating the work from other top venues like IEEE VIS, helping authors optimize their submission strategy.

This comprehensive skill is a guide for authors to assess if their Information Systems (IS) manuscript is suitable for the prestigious Information Systems Research (ISR) journal. It analyzes the journal's rigorous requirements, including the need for genuine IS theoretical contributions, quantitative methodology (econometrics, analytical modeling), and adherence to specific submission standards. It functions as a pre-submission checklist and re-framing tool, helping authors understand the required depth in theory, evidence, and structure before targeting the venue.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Conference on Knowledge Capture (K-CAP). It assists in positioning the manuscript, re-framing the contribution, and verifying the evidence bar. The tool emphasizes that the work must focus on knowledge acquisition, engineering, and operationalizing structured knowledge systems, rather than merely using them in a general context.

This guide helps authors structure and strengthen their contribution claims for top-tier journals in economics and human resources. It emphasizes moving beyond simply stating new evidence by focusing on policy relevance, translating coefficients into natural human-capital units (like dollars or percentage points), and rigorously reconciling findings with prior literature to maximize impact.

This guide assists researchers in transforming narrowly focused, technically correct findings into broadly significant methodological contributions suitable for high-impact econometrics journals (e.g., JoE). It outlines strategies for framing the work by identifying the general problem class, stating the advance as a property (rather than a procedure), and anchoring the contribution within broader economic settings. Use this when your paper needs to be elevated from an incremental fix to a field-changing principle.

This guide assesses the suitability of research manuscripts on sustainability, cleaner technologies, and circular economy for the Journal of Cleaner Production. It provides detailed criteria covering contribution generalizability, methodological transparency (e.g., LCA scope, system boundaries), necessary framing for submission, and adherence to high academic standards.
