This comprehensive guide assists researchers in determining the suitability of their manuscript for Nucleic Acids Research (NAR). It details the journal's scope, structural demands, and rigorous standards for submissions involving DNA, RNA, bioinformatics, databases, or web tools. Use this to assess the fit and required elements before official submission.

A comprehensive guide for researchers in Pervasive Computing on ensuring the verifiable and reproducible nature of sensing data-driven claims. It mandates strict documentation practices covering dataset availability statements, sensing provenance (devices, labeling, preprocessing), cross-subject evaluation (LOSO), and consistency between published results and source data, adhering to ethical guidelines.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for meeting high-level scientific publication standards, detailing the mandatory deposition of raw data (sequences, structures, datasets) and analysis code into approved public repositories. Learn how to obtain persistent identifiers (DOI/Accession) and ensure the reproducibility and integrity of your research findings for journals like PNAS.

This guide ensures authors meet the rigorous standards for submitting figures and tables to PNAS Nexus. It covers critical aspects including managing the page budget (graphical-element count), optimizing sizing for print legibility, visualizing raw data points (vs. means), ensuring colorblind-safe palettes, and maintaining complete data integrity by retaining raw, unprocessed source images.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for constructing self-contained, highly legible tables and figures for population and development research manuscripts. It emphasizes that exhibits must communicate not only raw demographic patterns but also their broader development and policy significance to a wide, non-specialist readership (e.g., economists, environmental scholars). Key principles include showing uncertainty, using appropriate specialized graphics (e.g., population pyramids, survival curves), and maintaining data reproducibility.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for conducting highly rigorous, reproducible statistical analysis for complex survey data (e.g., weights, strata, clusters). This guide ensures that analyses meet the standards of top academic journals, emphasizing design-based inference, honest uncertainty reporting (CIs, MOE), and thorough robustness checks. Use this when you need to build a master script that regenerates every published table and figure.

This guide details the mandatory open science requirements for modern academic publishing, particularly in psychological sciences. It covers essential practices such as depositing open data and materials with DOIs, drafting a Research Transparency Statement, linking preregistrations, and properly handling exemptions. It ensures manuscripts meet the high standards of reproducibility and transparency required by top-tier journals.

A comprehensive guide for designing and documenting systematic literature searches for meta-analyses or systematic reviews. It ensures reproducibility by covering multiple databases (e.g., PsycINFO, PubMed), controlled vocabulary, grey literature, and adhering strictly to PRISMA-S guidelines. It helps build a robust, traceable research pool.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for designing tables and figures (exhibits) for academic manuscripts. The focus is on creating self-contained, highly accessible visualizations that effectively communicate quantitative effect magnitude and uncertainty to both specialized scholars and public practitioners, optimizing impact for publication.

A comprehensive guide for academic authors adopting open science standards, based on TOP Guidelines. It outlines best practices for ensuring research reproducibility, covering data citation, data provenance documentation, data sharing via repositories (Dataverse/QDR), and managing restricted-data paths for various evidence types.

Provides detailed guidelines for constructing high-quality tables and figures for Quantitative Economics (QE) manuscripts. It emphasizes adhering to strict academic standards, such as replacing significance asterisks with standard errors and confidence bands, placing exhibits in-text, and ensuring all visuals are self-contained, professionally formatted, and journal-compliant.

A comprehensive guide detailing the stringent methodological and reporting standards required for submitting medical imaging research (diagnostic, AI, interventional) to a top-tier radiology journal. It covers expectations for diagnostic accuracy (STARD), AI model validation (CLAIM), sample size justification, reproducibility, and ensuring clinical relevance, helping authors frame their work for optimal journal fit.
