This guide outlines best practices for packaging research artifacts (prototypes, datasets, instruments, code) for academic review and permanent public release, particularly in HCI venues like CHI. It covers strategies for creating highly reviewable, anonymous submissions (e.g., claims maps, minimal demos) and establishing robust, licensed, permanent archives (e.g., DOIs, OSF), ensuring research reproducibility and auditability.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for researchers packaging and releasing artifacts (data, code, instruments) derived from real communities in CSCW research. It emphasizes ethical constraints, de-identification techniques (such as quote search and join attacks), and best practices for protecting studied communities' privacy, ensuring responsible sharing.

A comprehensive guide for advanced econometric techniques in causal inference, covering modern approaches for quasi-experimental designs such as staggered Difference-in-Differences (DID), Instrumental Variables (IV), Regression Discontinuity Design (RDD), and Double Machine Learning (DML). It details best practices, critical diagnostic tests (e.g., weak instruments, parallel trend checks, bias decomposition), and robust reporting standards required for high-impact economic research.

A comprehensive guide for structuring and presenting robustness checks in high-impact economics journals, such as JEEA. It advises authors to organize checks around the *threat* to the claim (e.g., omitted variables, weak instruments) rather than simply adding more specifications. Focus on stable magnitude and reproducibility, ensuring the main finding survives credible perturbations.

A comprehensive academic guide for validating survey instruments. This resource details required standards for reliability (Cronbach's α, Composite Reliability), validity (AVE, Fornell-Larcker, HTMT), and diagnosing common method bias (CMV) in self-report studies. It outlines best practices for cross-cultural adaptation, pre-testing, and advanced statistical reporting necessary for high-impact academic publications.

A comprehensive guide for authors addressing the rigorous identification requirements for industrial-organization (IO) manuscripts, particularly targeting top-tier journals like the RJE. It details structural and reduced-form modeling approaches for areas including demand, supply, entry, mergers, and auctions. The resource emphasizes defending endogeneity, selecting appropriate market-based instruments, utilizing modern econometric estimators (e.g., Callaway–Sant'Anna), and establishing clear causal links between variation and structural parameters.
