This comprehensive guide helps authors determine the suitability and necessary framing for research related to environmental contamination. It mandates moving beyond simple pollutant detection, requiring rigorous evidence to connect contaminants to their fate, transport, and demonstrable ecological or human health impact. Essential for method validation, QA/QC, and scientific rigor.

A comprehensive guide for executing and reporting rigorous data analysis for Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) manuscripts. It details essential norms, including explicit QA/QC reporting (blanks, recoveries, LOD/LOQ), handling uncertainty, selecting appropriate statistics for environmental data (e.g., left-censored data), ensuring mass/energy balance closure, and guaranteeing reproducibility through master workflows.

This comprehensive guide assists in executing and documenting rigorous empirical finance research, tailored for top-tier journals like JFQA. It covers the entire pipeline, including complex financial data construction (CRSP, Compustat), advanced data cleaning (winsorizing, outlier handling), and sophisticated econometrics (fixed effects, clustered standard errors, Fama-MacBeth). The core focus is achieving absolute reproducibility, ensuring that all filters, robustness checks, and analytical steps are meticulously documented for archival and peer review.

A comprehensive guide to designing highly defensible and causal research studies for top-tier finance journals, such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). It covers advanced econometric methods for corporate finance, asset pricing, and policy shocks, including Fixed Effects, Staggered Difference-in-Differences (DID), Instrumental Variables (IV), and Regression Discontinuity Design (RDD). Focuses on addressing endogeneity, reporting economic magnitude, and ensuring robust inference.

A specialized guide for authors submitting manuscripts to high-impact academic journals like JFQA. It provides a structured methodology for addressing detailed concerns from double-anonymous referees and the managing editor, covering advanced topics such as endogeneity, robust inference, economic magnitude, and ensuring full reproducibility for final acceptance.

A mandatory guide for authors submitting to the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). This policy dictates the required archive structure, ensuring that all reported findings can be fully reproduced by depositing source code, raw or pseudo datasets, and a detailed execution roadmap in the JFQA Dataverse. It guarantees the highest standards of academic transparency and reproducibility in financial research.

A comprehensive guide for formatting tables and figures for submissions to the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). This skill ensures that all exhibits are self-contained, adhere to rigorous academic standards, and meet strict formatting requirements (e.g., stating economic magnitudes, winsorization, and clustering methods) for double-anonymous review.

Use this skill to rigorously evaluate whether a finance research question meets the high quantitative and empirical standards required by the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). It guides authors through a comprehensive checklist, assessing financial object, quantitative core, identification feasibility, and novelty, helping authors optimize their academic contribution before investing time and submission fees.

This skill adapts scholarly drafts to the specific, rigorous style of the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). It enforces quantitative prose, strict formatting (e.g., 100-word abstract, TNR 12pt, double-spacing), and structural rules necessary for high-impact finance submissions. Use it to polish content, ensure precision, and guarantee compliance with top academic journal standards.

A comprehensive guide for academic finance researchers to assess if their quantitative manuscript is suitable for submission to the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA). It covers the journal's elite positioning, necessary methodological rigor (e.g., causal identification, standard errors), required structure, and common desk-reject pitfalls, helping authors refine their work for top-tier quantitative finance venues.

This skill replaces detected Protected Health Information (PHI) in clinical notes with realistic, type-matched synthetic surrogates. Unlike simple redaction, surrogates maintain the natural readability and structure of the text, ensuring the data remains parseable for downstream NLP tasks, QA, or human review. It supports consistent, reproducible fake identities and allows custom identifier generation for proprietary formats.
