This guide helps authors structure lengthy academic manuscripts, ensuring the main text maintains a clear, focused narrative while relegating supportive, detailed evidence to the appendices or supplementary materials. It outlines the 'determinative' principle, advising where to place hyperparameters, extended experiments, proof details, and code links to meet high journal standards and maximize readability for reviewers.

This guide outlines the proper placement of various research materials—including proofs, code, and extended results—within major academic conference submissions. It helps authors understand which content must be presented in the main body, which belongs in appendices, and how to correctly manage supplementary manuscripts and code/data supplements to maximize the chance of reviewer acceptance.

This guide provides detailed standards for structuring and writing manuscripts submitted to the INFORMS Journal on Computing (IJOC). It mandates a precise, methods-forward, and quantitative voice, ensuring the paper is accessible to both Operations Research (OR) and Computer Science (CS) audiences. Key elements covered include abstract structure (≤300 words, no formulas), rapid contribution framing in the introduction, and using numbered pseudocode for methods.

This guide provides comprehensive best practices for authors to enhance the reproducibility of technical research papers (especially in networking and computer science). It covers documenting proofs, pinning simulation setups, reporting parameters, and best practices for releasing code and datasets, transforming a paper from a claim into a verifiable scientific artifact.

This comprehensive guide details the end-to-end technical program committee (TPC) review process for major academic conferences like INTERSPEECH. It walks through every stage—from initial submission and area assignment to independent review, rebuttal, meta-review, and final decision. Users can learn how to decode reviewer feedback, understand the limitations of the rebuttal, and develop a strategic plan for future submissions and research refinement.

This guide clarifies what constitutes an 'artifact' for pure-theory venues like ITCS. It emphasizes that the core deliverable is not code or functional components, but the mathematical argument itself. Successful evaluation relies on providing complete, self-contained proofs within the submitted PDF, along with citing dependencies precisely. It details how to handle minor computational content to ensure static, verifiable checks.

This guide polishes academic prose to meet the rigorous standards of top economics and accounting journals (e.g., JAE). It ensures the writing is precise, hypothesis-driven, and structured according to positive-accounting tradition. It covers mandatory elements like structured sections (numbered), Harvard author-date referencing, and required packaging (Highlights, Keywords, JEL codes).

A comprehensive guide for authors facing a Journal of Consumer Research (JCR) revise-and-resubmit decision. This skill outlines the systematic process of planning major revisions, executing new studies or analyses, ensuring compliance with mandatory data transparency requirements (e.g., OSF deposits, replication code), and drafting a highly structured, point-by-point response letter that satisfies the editor and reviewers.

A comprehensive guide for managing the highly critical stage of journal revision. This skill helps researchers decode editor feedback, strategically decide on necessary data collection (e.g., new countries, invariance tests), and structure a professional, point-by-point response letter that addresses every reviewer comment effectively while maintaining scholarly rigor.

This guide helps authors prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals, specifically detailing the mandatory requirements for data and code transparency (e.g., JPART). It outlines how to build a complete, reproducible package, including master scripts, documentation (README), data availability statements, and managing potential data restrictions, ensuring publication acceptance is not stalled by materials.

A comprehensive pre-submission checklist designed for academic authors preparing manuscripts for top-tier journals. It systematically verifies critical details such as footnote conventions, reference formatting, anonymity protocols, word count adherence, and the inclusion of supplementary data/code, ensuring compliance with the journal's most current submission guidelines.

A comprehensive guide on structuring research papers for top-tier AI conferences (like NeurIPS). It teaches authors how to strategically allocate contributions, proofs, data details, and code artifacts across the main body, text appendices, and separate ZIP files. Use this skill to ensure reviewers can easily identify the core contribution and assess the work's validity without missing crucial supporting details.
