A comprehensive guide for authors on drafting a strategic response during the OpenReview cycle. This resource covers how to address reviewer objections, shape the Area Chair's meta-review summary, manage the discussion phase, and decide whether to defend the paper or withdraw for a future revision cycle. Focus on clarity, conciseness, and evidence-based arguments.

This comprehensive guide outlines the meticulous workflow for preparing a research paper for final publication (Camera-Ready) after acceptance at major NLP conferences like ACL. It covers critical steps including de-anonymization (restoring author details and acknowledgements), integrating mandates from meta-reviews, adding required disclosures (e.g., funding, AI assistance), and ensuring all technical metadata, font embedding, and licensing comply with the permanent open-access standards of the ACL Anthology.

A comprehensive audit checklist for authors submitting papers to major NLP conferences (like ACL) via OpenReview. This guide covers mandatory formatting rules, maintaining anonymity, addressing ethical declarations (Responsible NLP), managing resubmission links, and ensuring adherence to the entire submission workflow to prevent desk rejection.

A comprehensive guide for drafting professional and strategic rebuttals for major academic conferences, such as ACM Multimedia. Learn how to triage reviewer comments, structure arguments for the Area Chair, address factual errors, and incorporate small, confirmatory results while maintaining anonymity and adhering to strict policy guardrails.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing the supplementary material for multimedia conferences (e.g., ACM MM). It details how to structure the content, separating core arguments (Body) from supporting evidence (Supplement). Learn best practices for packaging videos, audio, and interactive demos, ensuring technical compatibility (H.264/MP4), maintaining anonymity for double-blind review, and creating a legible, reviewer-friendly submission index.

A comprehensive guide detailing the complete academic review pipeline for IEEE/ACM Automated Software Engineering (ASE) submissions. It explains unique stages like the early-rejection gate, the criteria-bound revision process, and the difference between ASE's cycle and those of peer conferences (e.g., ICSE, FSE). Essential reading for authors aiming to submit high-quality research in automatic software engineering.

This guide provides a tactical framework for drafting high-stakes author responses (rebuttals) to peer reviews in top-tier academic conferences. It details how to triage reviewer comments (factual errors, questions, disputes), structure the argument within strict word limits (e.g., 800 words), and maintain a professional, evidence-based tone to maximize the paper's chances of acceptance or major revision.

A comprehensive guide detailing the staged peer review pipeline for top-tier academic conferences. It analyzes stages from rapid screening to major revisions, providing actionable strategies for authors to maximize leverage, address reviewer concerns, and structure rebuttal responses effectively.

This guide provides best practices for organizing supplementary material and appendices in major conference submissions. It teaches authors how to maintain the core 11-page body's self-contained integrity while including necessary details (like full configurations, extended result grids, and full proofs) in appendices, ensuring the work remains robust even if reviewers do not read the supplemental content.

This guide provides a detailed framework for authors to strategically place content within technical conference papers. It outlines the distinct roles of the extended abstract, main body, appendix, and artifact, ensuring that all acceptance-critical information is positioned where reviewers are required to read it. Following these rules maximizes the paper's chances of successful peer review acceptance.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing a rebuttal response for major academic conferences (like CCS). It teaches strategic communication, focusing on triaging decision-critical issues (threat model, ethics, novelty), structuring arguments by conceding strong points, anchoring claims to existing evidence, and avoiding over-promising. Essential for authors facing adversarial review patterns.

A comprehensive guide for authors planning research submissions to top-tier academic security conferences like CCS. It details the two-cycle HotCRP workflow, decision criteria, and strategic advice on addressing threat model soundness, novelty, evidence quality, and crucial ethical disclosure concerns across all stages, from initial review to minor revision.
