Skill UI

This skill transforms the current workspace into a comprehensive, stateful teaching environment. It guides the user through deep, multi-session learning by structuring content into core components: a defined mission, reference materials, curated resources, structured lessons, and continuous learning records. It employs educational best practices (spaced repetition, retrieval practice) to ensure long-term knowledge retention.

This guide teaches authors how to strategically position their research contribution within the highly multidisciplinary scope of Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T). It emphasizes framing the knowledge gap as a process, attribution, or mechanistic question, requiring engagement across adjacent fields like chemistry, engineering, toxicology, and policy, thereby ensuring novelty and depth for review panels.

This guide assists authors in drafting and polishing manuscripts for Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T). It emphasizes adopting the ACS citation style, clearly establishing environmental significance upfront, and structuring the prose to be highly legible to a multidisciplinary audience while managing strict word count limits.

This guide assists researchers in drafting a highly structured and scope-specific cover letter for journal submissions, particularly targeting publications like Field Crops Research. It emphasizes establishing clear scope fit (field-based, multi-environment), articulating the novel quantitative contribution, and confirming essential submission declarations (originality, data availability). Using this skill ensures the letter meets the stringent requirements necessary to pass the initial editor scope check and improve acceptance rates.

This skill provides a deep dive into the rigorous multi-stage review process for scientific manuscripts, particularly in field crops. It details editor scope screening, the single-anonymized expert review, and the specific criteria required (e.g., multi-environment data, statistical rigor, general relevance) to prevent desk rejection. Use this knowledge before submission to stress-test your manuscript, anticipate reviewer objections, and structure your findings for maximum scientific impact.

This skill helps researchers pressure-test their agronomy or crop-science project against the strict criteria of specialized journals, such as FCR (Field Crops Research). It guides users to ensure their work is field-based, multi-season/multi-environment, focuses on true field crops, and holds general scientific significance, preventing premature rejection.

This skill guides authors on how to position interdisciplinary manuscripts for journals covering global environmental change (GEC). It emphasizes connecting multiple knowledge domains (e.g., biophysical science, governance, social science) and reframing the research gap as a conceptual contribution, rather than merely pointing out an absence of study. Essential for drafting strong introductions and satisfying reviewer requirements for disciplinary breadth.

A comprehensive guide for planning the submission of law-review articles, detailing the multi-submit and expedite mechanics used by top law students. It covers strategic timing (Spring vs. Fall seasons), establishing a tiered submission set (Reach, Match, Floor), and leveraging offers to accelerate review at highly ranked journals like HLR. Essential for maximizing publication chances in competitive academic environments.
