Skill UI

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for authors submitting to Accounts of Chemical Research (ACS). It helps researchers understand the journal's unique niche: publishing concise, first-person, narrative accounts of a research program's evolution, rather than comprehensive field reviews or primary data reports. It serves as a fit-checking tool, guiding manuscript framing, required evidence, and house style.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ARA&A). It details the journal's unique positioning as a high-impact, invited review venue, emphasizing that it publishes critical syntheses, not primary research. Use this tool to scope, frame, and check the evidence bar, house style, and submission requirements for authoritative, cross-disciplinary astronomical reviews.

This comprehensive guide provides authors with a critical preflight checklist for submitting academic manuscripts to major journals (e.g., SAGE Track). It ensures compliance with strict guidelines, covering anonymization, word count adherence, abstract structure, ORCID linking, and robust data availability statements. Use this tool to minimize the risk of desk rejection due to formatting or procedural errors.

A comprehensive guide for academic researchers preparing manuscripts for top-tier Chinese economic journals. It teaches users how to structure complex research topics by rigorously checking four dimensions: theoretical contribution, marginal differences, mechanism revelation, and unique Chinese context. Essential for elevating a raw idea into a publishable, high-impact paper.

A comprehensive pre-submission guide for authors targeting high-caliber academic journals like Games and Economic Behavior (GEB). It ensures compliance with critical publishing standards, covering abstract length limits (≤250 words), mandatory conference-version disclosures, generative AI declarations, and correct formatting (LaTeX/Word elsarticle). Use this checklist before submitting to Editorial Manager to minimize rejection risks.

This process verifies if a specific legal argument has been published previously by searching major academic databases, including SSRN, Westlaw, HeinOnline, and Google Scholar. It is a critical step for legal scholars to confirm originality, sharpen the claim, and refine the contribution before drafting a full paper, thereby preventing wasted effort and strengthening the scholarly impact.

This comprehensive guide provides a step-by-step checklist for authors transitioning from an anonymous conference submission to a final, polished, camera-ready manuscript. It covers de-anonymization (restoring author details), integrating meta-review critiques, ensuring compliance with major publishers (like IEEE eCF/PDF-eXpress), and preparing supporting public artifacts, making it essential for academic publication success.

A specialized tool for researchers aiming to publish in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization (JEBO). It helps authors assess the suitability of their behavioral, institutional, or organizational economics manuscript by analyzing the journal's scope, methodological bar, required evidence, and formatting standards. It serves as a pre-submission re-framing and checklist mechanism.

This skill guides authors in assessing whether their economic research is suitable for the Journal of Economic Perspectives (JEP). JEP specializes in publishing accessible, non-technical, and synthetic articles aimed at a broad readership of economists. It helps authors shift their focus from complex empirical estimations to clear exposition, balanced synthesis, and general intellectual framing, providing a comprehensive pre-submission checklist.

Provides a comprehensive guide to the entire academic publication review lifecycle, from initial submission to acceptance. It models the key stages—including editorial screening, expert review, revision, and final check—identifying critical decision criteria, common rejection reasons, and actionable leverage points for authors to significantly improve manuscript quality and navigate the publishing process.

This comprehensive guide details the entire editorial review process for quantitative economics publications, covering stages from initial desk screening through to pre-acceptance reproducibility checks. It provides critical insights into expected timelines (4-5 months), desk-reject risks, the Econometrica transfer option, and mandatory data/code preparation requirements. It is designed to set clear professional expectations for authors throughout the academic publishing cycle.

A comprehensive preflight checklist designed for submitting academic manuscripts to major journals. It ensures strict compliance with publishing standards, covering double-blind anonymization, required AI disclosure statements, ORCID linking, adherence to specific formatting rules (e.g., Chicago style, page limits), and data authenticity requirements for research integrity.
