This guide details the comprehensive steps required after an ACM conference paper has been accepted. It covers critical stages including obtaining shepherd approval, de-anonymizing the work (restoring author names, funding, and system details), reflowing the paper using the acmart template, and submitting both the source code and the final PDF through the ACM Publishing System (TAPS). It emphasizes releasing public artifacts for reproducibility.

A comprehensive guide for positioning academic papers in highly competitive technical fields, particularly networking and distributed systems. Learn how to systematically sweep major venues (SIGCOMM, NSDI, MobiCom, etc.), rigorously prove every prior work via dblp/ACM DL, and articulate clear novelty by distinguishing core mechanisms from mere engineering polish. Essential for top-tier conference submissions.

A guide to navigating the rigorous academic publication pipeline, detailing stages such as early rejection, rebuttal, one-shot revision, and shepherding. It helps authors understand reviewer focus areas (e.g., evaluation realism, contribution) and plan strategic responses to maximize acceptance chances in top-tier venues.

This comprehensive guide provides a rigorous, multi-stage audit checklist for authors submitting papers to top-tier academic conferences like SIGCOMM. It covers crucial details including abstract registration timing, selecting the correct research or experience track, adhering to strict ACM formatting rules (12-page limit), maintaining double-blind anonymity, and verifying all metadata against the submission system requirements.

This guide outlines best practices for organizing technical conference papers, specifically tailored for venues like ACM SIGCOMM. It details how to separate core arguments (Body), supporting data (Appendices), and citations (References), ensuring the main paper remains self-contained and persuasive to reviewers. Learn how to manage content load, handle extended proofs, and adhere to strict page limits without losing critical information.

This guide outlines the rigorous standards required for submitting top-tier academic papers, such as those for ACM SIGCOMM. It instructs authors on how to transition from general claims to highly evidence-based arguments by focusing on measured operational pain, defining design principles, and pairing every performance claim with concrete testbed, trace, or deployment evidence. Essential for researchers in networking and systems.
