This skill guides the polishing and formatting of demography manuscripts for publication in academic journals. It ensures the prose is accessible to a general population scientist, adhering to strict house styles (loosely APA) and meeting specific word and structural limitations (e.g., abstract length, keyword count). It focuses on clarifying the main demographic process and contribution, rather than just reporting associations.

A comprehensive guide for polishing Developmental Psychology manuscripts. It ensures adherence to APA 7th edition standards, focusing on foregrounding developmental change, using JARS reporting for methods and results, and correctly formatting the Abstract and Public Significance Statement based on the required length tier. It helps authors shift focus from single-age findings to developmental trajectories and mechanisms.

A comprehensive guide for structuring the introduction and related-work section of academic manuscripts, specifically tailored for journals like The Economic Journal (EJ). It teaches authors how to effectively position their research contribution for a broad, generalist economic readership, moving beyond niche citations to articulate the general economic question, the gap in knowledge, and the paper's wide-ranging relevance.

This tool helps authors conduct a pre-mortem review before submitting manuscripts to demanding general-interest journals. It guides the identification and pre-emption of likely objections—such as lack of broad interest, missing economic mechanism, or identification threats—allowing authors to proactively harden their argument, structure their contribution, and greatly increase the paper's chances of acceptance.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing manuscripts for submission to The Economic Journal (EJ). It covers format requirements, single-blind review guidelines, author-date referencing, JEL codes, data/code policy (Zenodo), and the detailed submission process via Editorial Express. Use this checklist for the final mechanical gate check before submission.

A comprehensive skill tool designed to guide authors on submitting manuscripts to *Economic Perspectives*. It helps users evaluate if their work meets the journal's high standards for theoretical depth, economic mechanism explanation, and scholarly rigor. It covers structure, scope, and common rejection pitfalls, serving as a pre-submission quality check.

This skill guides authors preparing manuscripts for academic journals, specifically addressing the unique 'Panel Review' model (like those at Economic Policy). Instead of standard anonymous refereeing, the paper faces a live debate from two named discussants (Academic and Policy). It teaches authors how to 'war-game' these experts, anticipating their specific objections on rigor and relevance, and planning pre-emptive fixes or precise live rebuttals.

A guide for structuring rigorous economic policy manuscripts for a dual audience. It dictates that the main text must be non-technical and policy-first, written accessibly for policymakers, while all technical derivations, proofs, and full estimators are relegated to the appendix to maintain academic rigor.

This router guides the entire lifecycle for writing complex, theory-driven academic manuscripts, particularly in fields like econometrics. It provides a structured roadmap spanning from initial topic selection and literature positioning through rigorous proof development, data simulation, drafting style, and the final submission/rebuttal phases. Use this resource when you are unsure of the correct sequential step or need a systematic check of all necessary components before finalizing your work.

This skill provides a comprehensive review pass for econometric theory manuscripts. It guides authors in polishing prose, ensuring rigorous theorem-proof clarity, standardizing notation, and enforcing adherence to specific academic journal formatting guidelines (e.g., APA style, 11pt font, abstract length, running head). It is essential for generating highly rigorous and publication-ready academic submissions.

This guide provides best practices for revising academic manuscripts intended for top-tier economics journals, such as the European Economic Review (EER). It teaches authors how to shift their writing focus from highly technical, field-internal jargon to a general-interest, compelling narrative. Learn to structure the introduction with a clear arc, present result-forward abstracts, write actionable research highlights, and properly report findings using standard errors (SEs) rather than significance asterisks.

A comprehensive guide for authors on crafting the policy implications section for academic economics manuscripts. It distinguishes between operational policy advice (like government memos) and the theoretical, institutional significance required by top-tier journals. Learn the structured approach, the 'evidence-to-meaning' deduction chain, and how to elevate findings to macro/principle levels.
