This comprehensive checklist guides researchers through the final stages of academic manuscript preparation for submission to major journals via platforms like ScholarOne. It covers critical technical requirements, including word count limits (12,500 words), abstract length (150 words), adherence to triple-blind anonymity standards, proper formatting (World Politics Style Sheet), and ethical compliance (APSA guidelines). Use this guide before hitting the submit button to minimize avoidable rejections.

This skill is essential for scholars working in Comparative Politics and International Relations. It guides the process of transforming single-case empirical findings into robust, portable theoretical arguments. By explicitly defining causal mechanisms, stating scope conditions, and identifying observable implications, the skill ensures the research contribution significantly advances theoretical debates across multiple cases or contexts.

This tool acts as the central orchestrator for academic manuscripts submitted to World Politics. It guides authors through the entire scholarly writing lifecycle, determining the correct article type (research vs. review), verifying the scope (must cross cases in comparative politics/IR), and routing the project to the appropriate specialized writing skills (e.g., theory building, data analysis, literature positioning). It ensures the work maintains a big, comparative, and international scope.

This skill guides legal scholars in transforming a broad legal topic into a single, sharp, contestable, and generalist thesis statement suitable for top-tier law journals. It forces the definition of the contribution's nature—whether descriptive, doctrinal, theoretical, or normative—and structures the argument into a clear, defensible 'contribution contract' for academic editors.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for evaluating whether a research manuscript aligns with the scope, structure, and requirements of the journal *Soft Science*. This comprehensive culinary assistant guides you through meal planning, recipe execution, and advanced cooking techniques. It integrates principles of food science and flavor architecture, helping users define goals, troubleshoot flavor issues, and execute dishes with precision. Use it to master everything from basic knife cuts to complex plating.

This skill guides decision-making when resources (time, context, tools) are finite and the search space is infinite. It instructs the user to first establish a clear, explicit 'good enough' aspiration level. Once set, the process involves stopping at the first option that meets this threshold, preventing costly over-optimization and wasted effort.

This tool acts as a meta-skill guide, helping users systematically determine the most appropriate cognitive framework when faced with complex problem-solving tasks. It maps the problem's domain and type (e.g., diagnosis, strategy, architecture) to select the optimal primary thinking skill, preventing guesswork or arbitrary stacking of tools. It ensures the chosen method is justified by mechanism fit and relevance.

A comprehensive guide for incident response and legal compliance following data breaches, focusing on GDPR Articles 33 and 34, EDPB guidelines, and ENISA methodology. This skill helps users triage incidents, perform risk assessments, generate audit-ready documentation, and determine required mitigation actions following a security breach or data leak.

A comprehensive guide for creating and maintaining an atomic, index-driven knowledge base (KB) using Markdown. This method enables AI agents to bypass traditional vector search limitations by reading a central index file (INDEX.md) and opening only the most relevant, highly signaled notes, drastically improving context efficiency.
