Skill UI

A structured workflow designed to prevent 'reinventing the wheel.' Before writing custom code, this skill guides the user through analyzing needs, conducting parallel searches across multiple channels (npm, PyPI, GitHub, MCP), evaluating candidate solutions based on maintainability and community support, and making a decision (Adopt, Extend, or Custom Build). It ensures that solutions leverage existing, proven libraries and patterns.

This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for deploying, configuring, and tuning Snort 3. It covers essential steps such as setting network interfaces to promiscuous mode, writing custom rules using Lua, integrating with SIEM platforms, and utilizing community rulesets. Ideal for network security professionals implementing robust, signature-based intrusion detection at critical network boundaries.

This guide details the deployment and configuration of Suricata as a high-performance, inline Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). It covers setting up NFQueue mode, writing custom detection rules, managing commercial and community rulesets (like Emerging Threats), and optimizing performance for active, real-time blocking of malicious network traffic. Essential for robust security architecture and compliance.

Provides guidelines for creating robust, verifiable, and reusable Electronic Design Automation (EDA) artifacts for submission to academic conferences like DAC. The focus shifts from chasing conference badges to ensuring community trust and scientific reproducibility. Key elements include pinning the toolchain, using standard benchmarks, providing clear setup instructions, and archiving the release in a DOI-issuing repository.

A comprehensive guide for establishing research reproducibility in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). It details best practices for pinning benchmark suites, disclosing specific tool versions (open/commercial), documenting technology nodes (PDKs), and handling stochastic data flows (seeds, variance). Essential for ensuring that semiconductor design claims and ML-for-EDA results are credible and verifiable by the academic community.

This guide provides a specialized framework for authors targeting the IACR Conference on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems (CHES). It details the specific scope, evidence bar, and framing techniques required for cryptographic hardware papers, ensuring submissions meet the high standards of the community. It helps reposition work from journal or general CS styles.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing accepted academic papers for artifact evaluation at major conferences (e.g., NSDI). It details how to package code, traces, and testbed recipes to ensure permanent public availability, achieve recognition badges (Functionality, Availability, Reproducibility), and meet community award criteria. Learn best practices for reproducibility and structured submission.

This skill provides a detailed framework for researchers to determine the most suitable venue (e.g., RSS, ICRA, CoRL, IROS) for their robotics project paper. It teaches how to shift focus from merely demonstrating a system's capabilities to articulating a precise, testable scientific claim, ensuring the work is optimally presented to the target academic community.
