A comprehensive guide for authors targeting ACM MobiCom. It assists in conference fit assessment, manuscript re-framing, and strengthening the evidence base for mobile networking and wireless systems papers. Learn how to position your work against specific venue requirements, distinguish contributions (e.g., networking vs. platform), and structure your paper for optimal review impact.

Provides rigorous guidelines for conducting robust, verifiable, and reproducible evaluations in networking research. It emphasizes moving beyond simple simulations by demanding the use of real target platforms, documenting full system provenance (traces and configs), establishing honestly tuned baselines, and reporting detailed measurement statistics and uncertainty. Essential for authors aiming for top-tier conference submissions.

A comprehensive guide for drafting the Related Work section for top-tier networking conferences (e.g., CoNEXT, SIGCOMM). It emphasizes moving beyond simple literature summaries to create a 'delta argument'—clearly defining what the paper contributes over the closest prior work. Guidelines cover covering specific networking 'lanes' (like IMC, NSDI, SIGMETRICS), maintaining double-anonymous citations, and ensuring the contribution is concrete and testable.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting networking research to CoNEXT. It outlines best practices for achieving technical reproducibility, focusing on pinning traces, configurations, environments, and pipelines. Learn the critical timeline for optional ACM badging and how to maintain an honest data-availability posture for robust academic review.

A comprehensive guide detailing the structural and rhetorical requirements for submitting networking systems papers to CoNEXT. It emphasizes leading with the problem context, tying every claim to real-world measurements, acknowledging limitations proactively, and adhering to strict academic formatting standards (acmart).

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for positioning computer communications and networking manuscripts for the IEEE INFOCOM conference. It helps authors understand the venue's specific scope, the required evidence bar (solid analytical or empirical performance evidence), and how to re-frame their work to align with INFOCOM's standards compared to sibling venues like SIGCOMM or CoNEXT. Use this for submission strategy and manuscript calibration.

This skill guides researchers on preparing manuscripts for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC). It provides a detailed framework for assessing whether a paper has genuine wireless specificity, requiring quantitative analysis and simulation under realistic channel models (e.g., imperfect CSI, mobility). It covers core topics like MIMO, resource allocation, and advanced networking, ensuring the work meets the rigorous standards of top-tier academic publications.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding the appropriate academic venue for their internet measurement work. It utilizes the 'measurement-first test,' ethical gate checks, and venue routing tables to help determine if a paper belongs at ACM IMC, SIGCOMM, NSDI, or a specialized journal, ensuring the core contribution is properly showcased.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for conducting rigorous networking evaluations, particularly for top-tier conferences. It mandates that every networking claim—be it optimality, performance improvement, or real-world behavior—must be matched with specific, verifiable evidence. This includes rigorous mathematical proof, seeded simulation results, or real-traffic testbed measurements. The guide emphasizes stating assumptions, using fair baselines, and ensuring statistical reproducibility across all studies.

A comprehensive guide for authors on how to structure the 'Related Work' section for top-tier networking conferences (like INFOCOM). It teaches authors to move beyond simple citation catalogs and instead adopt a 'delta-first' approach, clearly contrasting their work's novelty and unique contribution against the entire breadth of existing networking literature, including systems, theory, and flagships.

This comprehensive guide helps researchers determine the most appropriate venue for their networking research paper. It distinguishes between major conferences like INFOCOM (broad, analytical/optimization), ACM SIGCOMM (built systems, deployment story), and USENIX NSDI (artifact-heavy systems). Use it to route your work correctly before drafting.

This skill helps authors determine if their manuscript is suitable for the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC). It provides comprehensive guidelines on framing the work, establishing the evidence bar (requiring scale, performance portability, and systems impact), and positioning the contribution for a top-tier HPC flagship venue. Use it for strategic venue selection and manuscript re-framing.
