Skill UI

This skill performs in-depth literature reviews across complex communications domains, including 5G/6G, Wi-Fi, satellite networking, and advanced protocols. It systematically searches user-defined knowledge bases (Zotero, Obsidian, local files) and major academic databases (IEEE, ACM, ScienceDirect) to provide comprehensive survey summaries, related work analyses, and technical landscape overviews.

A comprehensive guide for computer science authors targeting high-performance parallel and distributed computing venues like HPDC. It assists in conference fit evaluation, manuscript re-framing (from journal/arXiv to conference narrative), identifying evidence gaps, and structuring contributions for optimal review success in cloud/HPC systems and distributed settings. Ideal for determining submission strategy.

A comprehensive pre-submission tool designed to guide authors targeting ACS Nano. It assesses whether a nanoscience or nanotechnology manuscript meets the journal's high standards across scope, method rigor, structural presentation, and conceptual framing. Use this skill to re-frame your work, understand the required evidence (e.g., single-molecule studies, quantitative benchmarks), and ensure optimal fit before official submission.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting materials science and physical metallurgy manuscripts to Acta Materialia. It emphasizes the necessity of establishing a clear processing–structure–property mechanism, requiring rigorous, quantitative characterization (e.g., TEM, XRD) and detailed mechanistic explanations over simple reports of improved performance. Use this tool for fit assessment and manuscript re-framing.

This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.

This comprehensive guide serves as a venue selection and content re-framing tool for research at the intersection of energy and environmental science. It details the high quantitative standards, required evidence (e.g., LCA, full-cell data, techno-economic analysis), and specific scope areas (solar, batteries, CO₂ capture) expected by Energy & Environmental Science (EES). Use this before submission to ensure your manuscript meets EES's broad, interdisciplinary impact criteria.

This guide assists in structuring the design of Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) studies, including lab, mesocosm, field sampling, or modeling experiments. It ensures methodological rigor by planning for environmental relevance, necessary controls (e.g., abiotic loss, sorption), proper replication, mass/energy balance, and a comprehensive QA/QC plan from the outset, helping the study withstand expert peer review.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the IEEE CASE conference. This tool helps assess manuscript fit by focusing on automation science, manufacturing, logistics, and cyber-physical systems. It guides authors on how to re-frame algorithmic designs with practical operational evidence, structure the contribution, and anticipate reviewer expectations for top-tier automation venues.

This guide assists authors in determining if their manuscript on membranes and separation processes meets the rigorous standards of the Journal of Membrane Science. It emphasizes that the core contribution must be the mechanistic understanding—how the membrane structure governs transport and separation—rather than just reporting separation results. Use this skill for venue selection, manuscript re-framing, and checking against high-level scientific rigor.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for submitting research to npj Computational Materials. It defines the journal's scope, requiring rigorous computational methods (DFT, MD, ML, high-throughput screening) that yield generalizable materials insights or predictive capabilities. It educates authors on the required standards, including methodological rigor, reproducibility, and adherence to FAIR data principles, helping authors re-frame their work for a high-impact venue.

This guide helps authors determine if their manuscript is suitable for submission to Progress in Aerospace Sciences. It emphasizes that the journal requires comprehensive, critical review articles that synthesize existing knowledge, rather than presenting original primary research, simulations, or experiments. Use this tool for fit assessment, scope definition, and structural re-framing before submission.

This skill is designed to help authors determine if their manuscript is appropriate for submission to Progress in Energy and Combustion Science. It provides a rigorous checklist for evaluating whether a work meets the journal's high bar for critical synthesis, comprehensiveness, and authority. It guides authors to reframe primary research into an integrative, agenda-setting review, covering scope, method rigor, and specific submission requirements.
