A comprehensive guide for authors submitting high-impact materials research. It details how to select expert referees (covering synthesis, device, and application domains) and provides actionable strategies to pre-empt common reviewer objections—such as claims of incremental advance, insufficient characterization, or weak benchmarking—thereby strengthening the manuscript's overall rigor and maximizing publication success.

A comprehensive guide for researchers in electronics and signal processing preparing submissions to Acta Electronica Sinica (AES). It outlines best practices for proactively structuring, documenting, and disclosing research artifacts—including code, datasets, and hardware designs—to maximize the paper's credibility and chances of acceptance, even without mandatory journal badges. Covers anonymization, reproducibility standards, and proper disclosure in the manuscript.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC). It helps assess the fit, scope, and required evidence for applied security papers, ensuring the manuscript is properly reframed from academic theory to deployable, operational defenses. Use this tool for venue selection and submission strategy.

This guide helps researchers determine the suitability of their energy-related manuscripts for the Applied Energy journal. It shifts the focus from single-device performance or component novelty to generalizable, systems-level insights. Key areas include energy-systems modeling, decarbonization pathways, techno-economic analysis (TEA), life cycle assessment (LCA), and assessing integrated energy transitions across sectors.

This comprehensive guide helps authors assess the suitability of their manuscript for the Biomaterials journal. It emphasizes the journal's core requirement: dual rigor. A successful submission must integrate thorough materials design and characterization with genuine biological evaluation (in vitro/in vivo), crucially establishing a mechanistic link between material properties and biological outcomes. Use this tool for venue selection, manuscript re-framing, and pre-submission self-assessment against high academic standards.

This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.

This guide outlines the process for converting accepted academic papers into optional ACM reproducibility badges. It walks authors through the rigorous evaluation cycle, covering everything from initial opt-in before submission to providing detailed one-page artifact descriptions. The goal is to prove that the research results are available, functionally sound, highly reusable, and accurately reproducible by independent evaluators.

This guide provides a comprehensive checklist for evaluating Electronic Design Automation (EDA) research manuscripts for top-tier conferences like DAC. It emphasizes the necessity of using standard, recognized benchmark suites (e.g., ISPD, EPFL, TAU), comparing results against the true State-of-the-Art (SOTA), reporting full PPA metrics and runtime, and implementing ablation studies to ensure fairness, reproducibility, and generalizability, especially for ML-based methods.

A detailed model of the ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference (DAC) research manuscript review process. This guide explains the double-blind, TPC-driven, and single-shot nature of the evaluation, emphasizing the critical balance between genuine novelty and measured Quality-of-Results (QoR). It outlines the high standards for evidence fairness, benchmark credibility, and ablation studies required for acceptance, differentiating DAC's approach from architecture and software venues.

This comprehensive guide provides a detailed audit checklist for submitting research manuscripts to major design automation conferences (e.g., DAC). It covers critical steps such as the two-stage abstract/manuscript timeline, adherence to the strict 6+1 page format, ensuring double-blind anonymization (removing all identifying metadata), declaring TPC conflicts, and mitigating common submission risks. Essential reading for researchers preparing for high-stakes academic submissions.

This comprehensive guide assists researchers and practitioners in selecting the optimal venue and track (e.g., DAC, ICCAD, ISCA) for their electronic design automation (EDA) or chip-design project. It clarifies the critical distinction between the archival Research Manuscript track and the industry-facing Engineering Track at DAC, emphasizing the need to frame contributions using measurable Quality of Results (QoR) improvements, novel algorithms, or real-world industrial lessons.

This comprehensive guide serves as a venue selection and content re-framing tool for research at the intersection of energy and environmental science. It details the high quantitative standards, required evidence (e.g., LCA, full-cell data, techno-economic analysis), and specific scope areas (solar, batteries, CO₂ capture) expected by Energy & Environmental Science (EES). Use this before submission to ensure your manuscript meets EES's broad, interdisciplinary impact criteria.
