A comprehensive guide for authors submitting materials science and physical metallurgy manuscripts to Acta Materialia. It emphasizes the necessity of establishing a clear processing–structure–property mechanism, requiring rigorous, quantitative characterization (e.g., TEM, XRD) and detailed mechanistic explanations over simple reports of improved performance. Use this tool for fit assessment and manuscript re-framing.

This comprehensive guide provides rigorous standards for advanced materials manuscripts. It mandates that structure–property claims must be validated through multiple, complementary characterization techniques (triangulation). It also details best practices for benchmarking against the state-of-the-art, ensuring reproducibility, and correctly partitioning core information between the main text and supplementary materials.

This guide helps researchers determine the suitability of their energy-related manuscripts for the Applied Energy journal. It shifts the focus from single-device performance or component novelty to generalizable, systems-level insights. Key areas include energy-systems modeling, decarbonization pathways, techno-economic analysis (TEA), life cycle assessment (LCA), and assessing integrated energy transitions across sectors.

This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.

This guide provides a comprehensive checklist for evaluating Electronic Design Automation (EDA) research manuscripts for top-tier conferences like DAC. It emphasizes the necessity of using standard, recognized benchmark suites (e.g., ISPD, EPFL, TAU), comparing results against the true State-of-the-Art (SOTA), reporting full PPA metrics and runtime, and implementing ablation studies to ensure fairness, reproducibility, and generalizability, especially for ML-based methods.

This comprehensive guide provides a detailed audit checklist for submitting research manuscripts to major design automation conferences (e.g., DAC). It covers critical steps such as the two-stage abstract/manuscript timeline, adherence to the strict 6+1 page format, ensuring double-blind anonymization (removing all identifying metadata), declaring TPC conflicts, and mitigating common submission risks. Essential reading for researchers preparing for high-stakes academic submissions.

This guide outlines the rigorous methodology for ensuring that computational research results, especially those involving hardware architecture and simulation, are fully reproducible. It emphasizes pinning the entire result chain—from simulator commits and configuration files to workloads, sampling recipes, and statistics scripts—and mandates creating a manifest for every figure. Key practices include recording machine state for silicon runs and containerizing the environment to prevent data drift.

This comprehensive guide provides best practices for packaging supplemental materials and artifacts for top-tier academic conferences like ICDE. It instructs authors on how to build a robust, reproducible evidence chain, including parameterized workload generators, configuration scripts, and detailed logs. The goal is to ensure that reviewers can quickly and accurately validate all performance claims and technical contributions, making the work 'turnkey' and verifiable.

A comprehensive style guide for structuring and refining robotics research manuscripts for top-tier conferences like ICRA. It dictates moving from technique-speak to task-first narratives, emphasizing figure-first presentation, rigorous quantification of claims, and adhering to strict page budgets to maximize reviewer impact and clarity.

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for positioning computer communications and networking manuscripts for the IEEE INFOCOM conference. It helps authors understand the venue's specific scope, the required evidence bar (solid analytical or empirical performance evidence), and how to re-frame their work to align with INFOCOM's standards compared to sibling venues like SIGCOMM or CoNEXT. Use this for submission strategy and manuscript calibration.

A comprehensive guide for positioning computer architecture manuscripts for the IEEE HPCA conference. It covers ideal scope (accelerators, memory systems, interconnects), required evidence (benchmarks, performance/energy tradeoffs), and strategic framing needed to appeal to top-tier hardware reviewers. Use it to refine your narrative and ensure your contribution meets the high standards of high-performance computing research.

This tool guides authors on structuring manuscripts for IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation (TAP). It emphasizes that the core contribution must be in applied electromagnetics, antenna design, or wave propagation theory, requiring a standard evidence chain: sound theory, full-wave simulation, and measured prototype validation. Use it for venue selection and content re-framing.
