Master systematic methodologies for using Shodan to perform deep reconnaissance during penetration testing. This skill covers querying exposed services, mapping assets, identifying vulnerable systems (CVEs), and utilizing advanced filters for IP ranges, geographical locations, and organizational data. Ideal for security researchers and ethical hackers.

This guide details the methodology and tools for conducting authorized privilege escalation assessments within AWS environments. It systematically utilizes specialized tools like Pacu and Principal Mapper (PMapper) to identify critical IAM misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and weak cross-account trust relationships. It is essential for validating the principle of least privilege and assessing the potential blast radius of compromised credentials during authorized penetration testing.

A comprehensive guide to systematically evaluating Kubernetes cluster security by simulating advanced attacker techniques. It covers attacking the API server, kubelet, etcd, RBAC, and secrets using specialized tools like kube-hunter, Kubescape, and peirates. Essential for authorized security assessments and hands-on validation of cluster defenses.

A comprehensive guide for performing systematic security assessments on web applications. Following the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide (WSTG), this process identifies critical vulnerabilities such as broken authentication, authorization flaws (IDOR), SQL injection, and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The workflow covers reconnaissance, mapping, and advanced testing techniques using tools like Burp Suite and sqlmap, ensuring deep coverage beyond automated scanner capabilities. Ideal for pre-production security validation and compliance audits.

A comprehensive guide for systematically assessing web applications and APIs for broken access control vulnerabilities (OWASP A01:2021). The methodology covers role-based access control (RBAC) auditing, horizontal and vertical privilege escalation, and multi-tenant data leakage using tools like Burp Suite, ffuf, and custom scripts. Essential for authorized penetration testing and security audits.

This comprehensive skill provides a systematic framework for performing deep security assessments on iOS applications. It covers static analysis of IPA packages, dynamic instrumentation using Frida and Objection, SSL pinning bypass for traffic interception, extraction and auditing of sensitive data from the Keychain, and runtime method hooking. Use this for authorized penetration testing against standards like OWASP MASTG.

A comprehensive, authorized methodology for security assessments covering cloud platforms, container runtimes, and Kubernetes clusters. It guides users through checking critical areas such as IAM privilege escalation, metadata SSRF, container escape paths, and granular RBAC misconfigurations, ensuring testing is systematic and non-destructive.

This guide outlines the methodology for conducting hardware security research on embedded systems. It covers physical interface analysis (UART, JTAG, SWD), debug pad triage, secure boot evaluation, and offline firmware extraction. It emphasizes systematic, non-destructive testing protocols and responsible handling of physical devices.

A comprehensive guide covering advanced Linux privilege escalation techniques. It details a systematic methodology to move from a low-privilege shell to root, exploiting misconfigurations in SUID/SGID binaries, abusing Linux capabilities, targeting sudo flaws (NOPASSWD), and leveraging kernel or system service vulnerabilities. Essential for red team and penetration testing engagements.

This adapter acts as a specialized entry point for authorized security analysis, reverse engineering, and CTF tasks using the 'reverse-skill' repository. It guides users through a systematic, multi-step workflow, ensuring that all actions—from setting initial scope to resolving tools—are executed within the defined security contract of the repository. Ideal for defensive testing and deep technical investigations.
