This comprehensive preflight checklist guides authors through the final steps before submitting academic manuscripts, especially for double-blind review processes. It covers critical requirements such as thorough anonymization (removing names, metadata, and self-citations), verifying file completeness (abstract, proofs, title page), managing submission fees, and confirming format compliance to ensure a smooth submission experience via Editorial Manager.

This guide provides comprehensive best practices for structuring tables and figures (exhibits) in empirical finance papers. It addresses the strict 60-page journal limit, advising authors on how to present core findings, identify mechanisms, and display robustness evidence while maintaining readability. Learn how to move mechanical grids to appendices, focus the main body, and ensure every visual element is self-contained and highly interpretable for top-tier referees.

This guide provides comprehensive style and revision rules for manuscripts submitted to top-tier finance journals, such as the Review of Finance (RoF). It helps authors transform their research into highly polished, general-finance readable prose, focusing on structuring the abstract (under 150 words), adhering to double-blind anonymity, maintaining Chicago citation style, and meeting strict length constraints (e.g., 60-page cap). Use this when your core results are stable and you are polishing the final draft for publication.

This guide outlines the critical, irreversible steps for preparing a camera-ready version of a submitted academic paper for a major conference. It covers de-anonymizing the content, securing ACM rights and metadata, correctly integrating artifact badges and reproducibility details, and structuring the final presentation talk for a merged expert audience.

This guide outlines the strict writing and formatting requirements for submitting scholarly manuscripts to a general social science audience. Key guidelines include adopting the Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed., author-date), maintaining an accessible, argument-first prose, and adhering to a stringent total word count cap that includes all references. It ensures academic submissions are professional, readable, and properly formatted for publication.

This process covers de-anonymization, completing journal metadata (DOI, ORCID, CCS), incorporating shepherd-required revisions, and ensuring permanent reproducibility.

This guide details the critical post-acceptance process for SIGMOD papers, transitioning the work from a conference submission template to the final PACMMOD journal format. It covers complex technical porting, de-anonymization (restoring author names, funding, etc.), managing metadata submission (ORCID, rights forms), and publishing the associated digital artifact for reproducibility.

This comprehensive guide outlines the mandatory steps for transforming an accepted, anonymized academic paper into the final ACM Digital Library Camera-Ready format. It covers de-anonymization, adhering to ACM metadata standards (DOI, ORCID, CCS concepts), integrating reviewer feedback, and ensuring permanent reproducibility of code and traces.

A comprehensive guide for authors transitioning an accepted paper from a full draft to the strict, camera-ready proceedings format required by major conferences like SODA. It covers critical steps such as content compression, de-anonymization (restoring author metadata), adhering to SIAM formatting rules, and establishing proper citation hygiene across multiple versions (proceedings, arXiv, journal).
