A comprehensive operational guide for managing Salesforce integration failures and outages. This runbook provides step-by-step procedures for initial triage, diagnosing common API errors (e.g., rate limiting, authentication failures), implementing mitigation strategies, and conducting detailed post-incident reviews (postmortems). It covers best practices for ensuring system reliability during critical system outages.

This guide outlines the complete workflow for setting up a fast, reproducible local development environment for Salesforce. It covers initializing SFDX projects, managing scratch orgs, integrating Node.js for backend logic, and configuring hot reload and unit/integration testing using modern tools like Vitest. Ideal for developers aiming for rapid iteration and robust testing cycles.

Master advanced techniques for optimizing Salesforce API interactions. This guide covers optimizing SOQL queries using selective fields and indexed WHERE clauses. It details methods to minimize API calls by utilizing Collections and Composite APIs, implementing metadata caching, and efficiently streaming large result sets via Bulk API 2.0, ensuring stable and high-performance integrations.

This guide implements comprehensive policy guardrails for robust Salesforce integrations. It provides solutions for preventing SOQL injection vulnerabilities, detecting hardcoded credentials, throttling API usage at runtime, and enforcing code quality via custom ESLint rules and CI/CD checks. Use this when building secure, scalable, and compliant Salesforce applications.

A comprehensive, step-by-step checklist for safely deploying Salesforce integrations to a production environment. This guide covers critical stages including pre-deployment configuration, sandbox validation, API limit planning, code quality enforcement, health endpoint checks, and detailed rollback procedures, ensuring smooth and reliable go-live.

A comprehensive guide and implementation pattern for handling Salesforce API quotas and rate limits. Learn how to monitor daily usage, implement exponential backoff with jitter for transient errors (like REQUEST_LIMIT_EXCEEDED), and optimize API calls using bulk operations, caching, and queryMore to ensure stable, high-throughput integrations.

This comprehensive guide teaches how to build fault-tolerant, production-grade Salesforce integrations. It covers key reliability patterns including circuit breakers for API outages, idempotent upserts using External IDs, advanced retry logic with error classification, and graceful degradation using fallback caching. Use it when designing mission-critical services that must remain resilient against network failures and API limits.

A comprehensive guide detailing best practices for securing Salesforce integrations and API access. It covers configuring Connected Apps with minimum OAuth scopes, implementing least privilege access, establishing dedicated integration users, and enforcing Field-Level Security (FLS). Essential knowledge for robust API development, security audits, and maintaining data integrity within the Salesforce ecosystem.

This comprehensive guide details the process of upgrading Salesforce API versions (e.g., v55.0 to v59.0+) and migrating associated libraries like jsforce (v1 to v3). It provides technical steps for handling breaking changes, moving from callback-based code to Promise/Async/Await patterns, and ensuring application compatibility with the latest Salesforce seasonal releases and best practices. Essential for developers maintaining complex Salesforce integrations.

This comprehensive guide details setting up robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for testing SalesLoft API integrations. It enables running unit tests with mocked responses, performing live integration tests against the actual SalesLoft API (including OAuth token validation and connectivity checks), and ensuring deployment stability. Use this skill when automating quality assurance, validating API endpoints, or managing complex SaaS workflow deployments.

This guide provides a quick reference for the most common SalesLoft REST API v2 errors, including 401 (Unauthorized), 403 (Forbidden), 422 (Validation), 429 (Rate Limit), and 5xx (Server Errors). It details the causes, specific fixes, and best practices, helping developers quickly diagnose and resolve integration issues to ensure seamless data exchange within the SalesLoft platform.

A comprehensive go-live checklist for deploying SalesLoft API integrations. It covers essential operational aspects including robust authentication, detailed error handling (401, 429, 5xx), rate limit management, health monitoring setup, data integrity checks (idempotency), and mandatory rollback procedures to ensure reliable production operation.
