A comprehensive guide detailing the rigorous, theory-specific peer review process for major academic journals. It explains the mechanics of masked peer review, the distinction between Theoretical Articles and Theoretical Notes, and anticipates the deep theoretical objections that reviewers—who are often rival model builders—will raise. Use this before submission or after receiving a decision letter to properly strategize revisions.

A detailed guide for late-stage polishing of theoretical psychology manuscripts destined for high-impact journals like Psychological Review. It shifts the writing register from empirical reporting (avoiding phrases like 'we found' or 'p < .05') to mechanism-first prose, focusing on models, assumptions, and theoretical derivations, while adhering strictly to APA 7th edition style.

This comprehensive guide details the rigorous standards required to defend the identification of parameters, estimands, or causal effects in quantitative economic research. It provides specific, advanced methodologies and checklists for three major branches: structural modeling, empirical causal design (e.g., DID, IV, RDD), and experimental studies. It ensures the work meets the high quantitative bar of top-tier journals by demanding explicit data-to-object mapping and robust diagnostic testing.

A comprehensive guide detailing the stringent methodological and reporting standards required for submitting medical imaging research (diagnostic, AI, interventional) to a top-tier radiology journal. It covers expectations for diagnostic accuracy (STARD), AI model validation (CLAIM), sample size justification, reproducibility, and ensuring clinical relevance, helping authors frame their work for optimal journal fit.

A comprehensive guide on preparing and structuring evidence packages for recommender system research, especially for academic submissions. It details how to ensure that all ranking claims, off-policy estimates, and evaluation metrics are end-to-end reproducible by providing artifacts like datasets, split scripts, model checkpoints, and propensity logs in an anonymous, verifiable repository.

This guide outlines how to strategically frame a manuscript's contribution for journals like the Review of Economic Dynamics (RED). It emphasizes identifying a single, sharp, dynamic or quantitative advance (e.g., a new mechanism, method, or quantitative result) and presenting it as a 'delta' against the closest existing model. It provides a checklist and stress test to ensure the core finding is immediately grasped by the target readership.

This comprehensive guide helps authors structure the inferential backbone of economic papers for top journals. It provides detailed checklists for theoretical models (assumptions, regularity), empirical studies (causal design, identification), and computational methods (convergence, asymptotics), ensuring claims are robust and credible across different paper types.

A detailed guide for structuring the introduction and related work sections of manuscripts submitted to Review of Economic Dynamics (RED). It teaches authors how to accurately map their contribution within established quantitative modeling traditions (e.g., DSGE, HANK), explicitly identifying the quantitative gap and the marginal theoretical advance for a specialized readership.

A comprehensive guide for structuring point-by-point responses to reviewers after a major academic review (RED). It emphasizes prioritizing model critiques, quantitative evidence, calibration discipline, and maintaining code/data archive updates. This skill ensures your rebuttal is structured, rigorous, and directly addresses the core concerns of quantitative reviewers.

Provides a comprehensive guide to the Review of Economic Dynamics (RED) editorial process, detailing the suitability screen, single-anonymized refereeing model, and fast-review expectations. It guides authors on preparation, planning timelines, and common pitfalls to ensure a smooth submission experience.

This guide outlines best practices for creating quantitative exhibits in dynamic macroeconomics papers. It covers crucial components like Impulse-Response Functions (IRFs), calibration tables, moment-matching results, and policy counterfactuals. The focus is on ensuring the model's mechanism and quantitative fit are clear, legible, and self-contained for expert review.

Guides authors through the rigorous, end-to-end lifecycle of submitting a paper to the Review of Economic Dynamics (RED). It acts as an orchestration checklist, covering critical stages from initial scope definition and quantitative modeling to data archiving, manuscript formatting, fee payment, and handling revisions. It ensures authors maintain methodological rigor and code-first discipline throughout the entire academic publishing process.
