Skill UI

This skill implements User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) using Elasticsearch/OpenSearch. It goes beyond static rules to build behavioral baselines (e.g., login times, data volume) for users and entities. By calculating anomaly scores and performing peer group analysis, it detects suspicious activities such as data exfiltration, privilege abuse, and unauthorized access, allowing organizations to proactively identify high-risk insider threats.

An advanced Intrusion Detection System (IDS) module designed for Operational Technology (OT) and ICS/SCADA environments. It monitors Modbus TCP/RTU traffic to detect unauthorized writes, anomalous function codes, malformed frames, and deviations from established communication baselines. Essential for investigating suspicious PLC register modifications and responding to industrial threats.

This comprehensive guide configures Fail2ban to implement a robust, layered defense mechanism for network security. It sets up custom filters and actions to automatically detect and mitigate threats such as port scanning, SSH brute force attempts, and network reconnaissance. By dynamically banning malicious IP addresses and providing security alerts, this skill significantly enhances the host-based intrusion prevention capabilities of your system.

This comprehensive guide details the methodology for detecting Process Hollowing (MITRE T1055.012), a critical defense evasion technique used by fileless malware. It involves analyzing memory-mapped sections, correlating EDR telemetry (Sysmon, ETW), and identifying memory mismatches between the running process and its on-disk binary image. Use this skill when investigating sophisticated, in-memory threats that masquerade as legitimate system processes.

A comprehensive guide to detecting sophisticated rootkit activity and persistent threats that evade standard security tools (like Task Manager or EDR). Techniques include cross-view process analysis, identifying System Service Descriptor Table (SSDT) hooks, kernel module analysis, and network connection forensics using tools like Volatility. Use this when standard monitoring fails, and deep system integrity checks are required.

This tool analyzes Web Application Firewall (WAF) logs (ModSecurity, AWS WAF, Cloudflare) to detect sophisticated SQL injection attack campaigns. It parses diverse log formats, identifies common SQLi payloads (UNION SELECT, OR 1=1), correlates multi-stage attacks, tracks source IPs, and generates detailed incident reports classified by OWASP standards for SOC analysts and security researchers.

This skill detects advanced cyber-physical attacks mimicking the Stuxnet pattern. It monitors for unauthorized modifications to PLC logic and detects discrepancies between reported sensor readings and actual physical process behavior. Ideal for high-security OT/ICS environments when hunting for APT lateral movement or validating process integrity against sophisticated threats.

A comprehensive guide detailing the systematic process of eradicating malware, backdoors, and attacker persistence mechanisms from compromised Windows and Linux systems. This workflow covers mapping persistence (Autoruns, registry, scheduled tasks), identifying artifacts (YARA, AV scans), removing threats, resetting credentials, and patching vulnerabilities to restore a clean state.

Executes authorized, advanced attack simulations against Active Directory environments to identify critical misconfigurations, weak credentials, and exploitable trust relationships. Utilizing industry tools like BloodHound, Mimikatz, and Impacket, this process simulates complex attacks such as Kerberoasting, Golden Ticket forging, and domain compromise path analysis, helping organizations validate their security posture against real-world threats.

This comprehensive guide outlines methods to identify and exploit specific IPv6 vulnerabilities, including SLAAC spoofing, Router Advertisement (RA) manipulation, and Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) attacks. It is designed strictly for authorized penetration testing to assess dual-stack security controls, detect unauthorized tunnels (like Teredo or 6to4), and validate network defenses against IPv6-specific threats. Always obtain explicit written authorization before use.

This tool leverages the Rekall memory forensics framework to conduct deep analysis of memory dumps. It is designed to detect sophisticated threats such as process hollowing, injected code via VAD anomalies, hidden operating system processes, and rootkit presence. It applies key forensic plugins (pslist, malfind, vadinfo) essential for rigorous incident response and malware analysis.

A proactive, hypothesis-driven skill designed to hunt for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) within complex enterprise environments. It analyzes endpoint telemetry, network logs, and memory artifacts using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Use this skill when investigating anomalous behavior flagged by UEBA, conducting scheduled threat sprints, or validating exposure to known TTPs using tools like Velociraptor and osquery.
