This comprehensive guide outlines best practices for building reliable and robust AI agent harnesses. It covers optimizing action spaces, defining structured tools, managing observation formats, and implementing essential error recovery contracts. Use these principles to dramatically improve agent completion rates, manage context budgets effectively, and transition AI prototypes into stable, production-grade autonomous systems.

Transforms Claude Code into a fully autonomous agent with persistent memory, scheduled operations, computer use, and task queueing. Replaces standalone agent frameworks using native crons, dispatch, MCP tools, and memory. Ideal for continuous automation and self-directed agent loops.

This pattern defines a robust, continuous loop structure for autonomous agents. It integrates crucial components like quality gates, evaluation harnesses, and explicit recovery controls. It guides complex workflows by defining decision paths (e.g., PR control, RFC decomposition) and includes strategies to mitigate common failure modes such as infinite loop churn or cost drift, ensuring measurable progress in autonomous systems.

This skill guides the creation of structured, task-local harnesses and reusable skills for complex or adaptive workflows. It ensures that dynamic processes, especially those involving multiple agents, are observable through defined objectives, input/output contracts, rigorous eval gates, and clear handoff checkpoints. Use this when automating non-linear or multi-stage tasks.

A formal framework designed for evaluating AI-assisted code generation sessions. It implements Development Oriented Evals (EDD) principles, allowing users to define capability and regression criteria. The system supports multiple evaluation types—code-based, model-based, and human review—and tracks reliability using advanced metrics like pass@k, ensuring robust quality control for AI agents.

A sophisticated multi-agent development harness inspired by GANs. It separates product planning, code generation, and rigorous evaluation into three distinct agents (Planner, Generator, Evaluator). This creates an adversarial feedback loop, allowing projects to iteratively reach professional, production-grade quality far beyond what a single-agent workflow can achieve. Ideal for complex, full-stack applications.

A comprehensive 7-section report providing a deep assessment of a repository's health and readiness level. It calculates key metrics including risk score, agent topology recommendations, MCP surface area, test confidence, and publish readiness. This tool is vital for pre-mint reviews, detecting architectural drift, and enforcing strict CI/CD quality gates.

A powerful tool designed to scaffold sophisticated, custom AI agent harnesses using the metaharness CLI. It supports various templates (e.g., coding, devops, marketing) and AI hosts (e.g., Claude, Codex). Crucially, it operates with maximum safety, defaulting to a dry-run mode and refusing to write to the calling repository root, ensuring controlled and predictable development workflows.

Share durable context and handoffs between AI agents like Claude and Codex via the local ECC Memory Vault. Use this skill to save work state, transfer context, resume tasks, or search shared project knowledge across different agent harnesses.

A comprehensive, stack-agnostic tool for deeply evaluating agent harnesses. It checks for broken code paths, redundant instructions, and the overall usefulness of agent logic using a structured, multi-stage dual-judge protocol. The process involves high-priority questionnaires (Q1, Q2) before running three defined tracks: A (Correctness), B (Redundancy), and C (Usefulness). Ideal for auditing complex agent systems before deployment or major refactoring.

This skill addresses the common problem of documentation decay in long-lived software projects. It establishes a canonical governance layer by assigning four non-overlapping roles—Constitution, Map, Status, and History—to existing documentation. By linking these roles to the active agent harness, it prevents documentation drift, ensuring that all project information remains accurate, authoritative, and contextually linked to the current codebase, making it ideal for the maintenance phase.
