A comprehensive guide for drafting persuasive and structured author responses to major academic conference reviews. This methodology teaches how to triage critical concerns, anchor answers strictly to submitted evidence (tables, appendices, repository), and effectively counter common technical pushbacks such as baseline tuning, temporal data leakage, and offline-online gaps, ensuring the response is professional, anonymous, and high-impact.

This guide details the strategic placement of supplementary evidence (e.g., tuning grids, ablation studies, code) for academic submissions, particularly in conference formats like RecSys. It clarifies the difference between material belonging in the main body, the page-counted appendix, and the anonymous repository, ensuring that critical findings are visible and adhere to strict page budget constraints.

A comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting manuscripts to The Review of Economic Studies (REStud). It guides researchers through critical steps, including ensuring double-anonymity, adhering to Harvard author-date referencing, managing the length limit (~45 pages), and preparing supplementary online appendices. This tool ensures all academic formatting and procedural requirements are met before the final submission.

This guide provides rigorous best practices for developing and presenting theoretical economic models for top-tier journals. It emphasizes framing results with a clear economic payoff, maintaining minimal model setups, and ensuring that complex, full proofs are relegated to the online appendix. The goal is to ensure the primary economic insight remains highly visible and actionable, rather than being buried in algebraic machinery.

This guide provides comprehensive rules for organizing the Internet Appendix (IA) for submissions to top academic journals, such as The Review of Financial Studies (RFS). It clarifies which material—such as full robustness checks, detailed proofs, or data construction methods—should reside in the main manuscript and which belongs in the supplementary IA. This ensures the core paper remains impactful, clean, and structurally rigorous.

A comprehensive checklist for preparing academic manuscripts for submission to major financial journals. It guides authors through formatting rules, ensuring double-blind anonymization, preparing the Internet Appendix, writing a detailed cover letter, and addressing mandatory code release conditions, ensuring readiness before final portal submission.

This guide provides a comprehensive strategy for authors responding to a "Revise and Resubmit" (R&R) decision from The RAND Journal of Economics (RJE). It helps authors manage conflicting referee demands, adhere to strict page caps (50-page total), and maintain required academic house styles. The focus is on structuring the point-by-point response letter, prioritizing the Editor's concerns, and efficiently allocating new material to the main text or appendix, especially for Industrial Organization (IO) manuscripts.

This guide provides comprehensive best practices for structuring tables and figures (exhibits) in empirical finance papers. It addresses the strict 60-page journal limit, advising authors on how to present core findings, identify mechanisms, and display robustness evidence while maintaining readability. Learn how to move mechanical grids to appendices, focus the main body, and ensure every visual element is self-contained and highly interpretable for top-tier referees.

This guide details the best practices for structuring supplementary materials for scientific conferences, ensuring the main paper remains self-contained. It covers transforming raw data, failure logs, and robotic videos into credible evidence annexes. Key areas include anonymization of media, maintaining archive hygiene, and structuring appendices to deepen belief without being mandatory for understanding the core claims.

A comprehensive guide for organizing academic conference papers. It dictates how to keep the main body focused on the core argument while moving detailed protocols, full derivations, and secondary data into unlimited appendices. It also provides best practices for anonymity and managing reviewer responses.

This guide outlines best practices for organizing technical conference papers, specifically tailored for venues like ACM SIGCOMM. It details how to separate core arguments (Body), supporting data (Appendices), and citations (References), ensuring the main paper remains self-contained and persuasive to reviewers. Learn how to manage content load, handle extended proofs, and adhere to strict page limits without losing critical information.

Provides strict guidelines for structuring and partitioning academic papers submitted to SIGMETRICS. It details the proper placement of content, specifying what must reside in the main body (decision-critical claims like theorems and assumptions), what belongs in the appendices (full proofs, extended analysis), and what constitutes the anonymized artifact. Adherence ensures the core argument is reviewable solely from the primary reviewed pages.
