This skill covers the technical process of setting up SSL/TLS inspection (decryption) on next-generation firewalls and proxies. It details how to act as a trusted Man-in-the-Middle to intercept, decrypt, and inspect encrypted HTTPS traffic for malicious payloads, data exfiltration, and policy violations. The workflow includes generating internal Certificate Authority (CA) certificates and deploying them across various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) to ensure visibility into the web's encrypted blind spot.

This tool automates the testing of web application URL parameters for Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). It probes sensitive endpoints, including cloud metadata services (AWS, GCP, Azure), internal network resources, and various URI schemes (file://, gopher://). It is designed for authorized penetration testing environments to confirm SSRF vulnerabilities and generate detailed threat reports.

This skill simulates advanced Layer 2 network attacks, including VLAN hopping, using techniques like switch spoofing (DTP) and 802.1Q double tagging. It is designed exclusively for authorized penetration testing environments to validate network segmentation, test trunk port hardening, and assess the risk of unauthorized VLAN access across the network infrastructure.

This comprehensive guide details the process of performing authenticated and unauthenticated vulnerability assessments using Tenable Nessus. It covers everything from advanced scan configuration (port discovery, credentialing, plugin setup) to detailed result analysis, including cross-referencing CVEs and prioritizing remediation based on CVSS scores and exploit availability. Ideal for compliance auditing, penetration testing, and maintaining system patch compliance.

A comprehensive guide for performing systematic security assessments on web applications. Following the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide (WSTG), this process identifies critical vulnerabilities such as broken authentication, authorization flaws (IDOR), SQL injection, and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The workflow covers reconnaissance, mapping, and advanced testing techniques using tools like Burp Suite and sqlmap, ensuring deep coverage beyond automated scanner capabilities. Ideal for pre-production security validation and compliance audits.

This skill guides users through performing sophisticated web cache deception attacks. It exploits path normalization discrepancies and cache key misconfigurations between Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and origin servers. Use this methodology to test for sensitive data exposure, cache poisoning, and authentication bypass vulnerabilities in applications protected by aggressive caching layers like Cloudflare or Akamai.

A comprehensive guide for security professionals detailing how to exploit web cache mechanisms (CDNs, reverse proxies) to inject malicious content. It covers identifying caching layers, discovering unkeyed headers (like X-Forwarded-Host), and executing poisoning attacks for authorized penetration testing.

This comprehensive guide details the process of capturing WPA/WPA2 handshakes and performing offline dictionary and brute-force password cracking. It utilizes industry-standard tools like aircrack-ng and hashcat to assess the strength of wireless network security during authorized penetration tests. It covers everything from interface preparation to final report generation.

This comprehensive guide teaches advanced iOS reverse engineering techniques using Frida dynamic instrumentation. Users can analyze proprietary app logic, extract encryption keys, trace method calls, and bypass anti-tampering or anti-debugging mechanisms without needing source code. It is essential for authorized mobile security testing and protocol analysis.

A comprehensive deep dive into reverse engineering ransomware encryption mechanisms. It details the analysis of hybrid encryption models (AES/RSA), identifying specific cryptographic APIs (CryptoAPI, CNG), and locating implementation flaws such as weak key generation or IV reuse. This guides authorized security professionals in finding potential decryption opportunities without paying a ransom.

A comprehensive guide detailing the use of Tenable Nessus, an industry-leading vulnerability scanner. Learn how to configure advanced scan policies, perform both authenticated and unauthenticated scans across servers, network devices, and web applications. This skill covers end-to-end processes from execution to result analysis and reporting.

A comprehensive guide and toolkit for advanced network reconnaissance using Nmap. It covers sophisticated techniques including service version detection, vulnerability scanning via Nmap Scripting Engine (NSE), firewall evasion methods (e.g., fragmentation, decoy addressing), and structured output parsing for integration into vulnerability management pipelines. Essential for authorized penetration testing.
