A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN). It assesses the suitability of clinical, translational, or basic science studies across kidney disease, dialysis, and transplantation. Provides detailed expectations regarding mechanistic significance, evidence bar, reporting guidelines (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA), and manuscript structure.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting Kidney International, the flagship journal of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN). This skill helps gauge the fit of nephrology, hypertension, or kidney translational studies by checking against the journal's global scope, international clinical relevance, strict methodological bar (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), and required structure. It is a venue-selection aid, not clinical advice.

Provides detailed guidelines for creating high-standard clinical figures and tables, modeled after leading medical journals (e.g., The Lancet). It covers essential display items including Table 1 (baseline characteristics), Kaplan-Meier survival curves (with numbers-at-risk), Forest plots for meta-analyses, CONSORT/PRISMA flow diagrams, and global maps. The guide emphasizes the rigorous reporting of 95% confidence intervals (CIs) and proper statistical methods to ensure scientific accuracy.

A rigorous pre-writing framework used by researchers to stress-test a study's significance against the high standards of top-tier medical journals (e.g., The Lancet). It assesses whether the work is clinically important, globally relevant, likely to change policy, and addresses health equity, preventing wasted research efforts on unsuitable manuscripts.

A mandatory skill for original research articles, designed to create The Lancet's signature 'Research in context' panel. This panel forces authors to synthesize their findings within a systematic evidence base by detailing what was known previously (with documented search strategies), outlining the specific added value of the current study, and discussing the collective implications for clinical practice and public health policy.

This guide enforces rigorous standards for reporting clinical trial statistics, moving beyond simple P values. It mandates the use of confidence intervals, absolute and relative effect sizes, clear designation of the primary analysis population (ITT), and proper handling of multiplicity and missing data, aligning with standards set by top-tier medical journals.

Provides a comprehensive checklist for ensuring methodological rigor in clinical and observational studies. It covers mandatory prospective trial registration (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov), pre-specified protocols/SAP, and critical elements like randomization, blinding, and power calculation for RCTs. Essential for manuscript preparation and review.

A comprehensive routing tool designed to guide authors through the entire lifecycle of a clinical or global-health manuscript intended for submission to The Lancet. It diagnoses bottlenecks and suggests the next specialized skill to use, ensuring the manuscript meets high standards of clinical importance, global relevance, and policy impact. It covers stages from initial concept and design to reporting, writing, and rebuttal.

Performs a comprehensive security audit of Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations, including servers, clients, and tools. This skill reviews code against critical security baselines (MCP-01 to MCP-05), OWASP MCP Top 10, and common Remote Code Execution (RCE) vectors (e.g., command injection, deserialization, SSRF). The output provides a detailed report with file and line references, ensuring compliance and identifying vulnerabilities before release. Use this when auditing network-exposed services or client security posture.

This guide provides expert advice on positioning, framing, and validating medical imaging AI manuscripts for the MICCAI conference. It helps authors tailor their research to meet the venue's specific requirements, focusing on clinical-task grounding, robust validation, and alignment with core scopes like computational anatomy and image-guided intervention. Essential for optimizing conference submission strategy.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting biomedical engineering research. It assesses the manuscript's fit, biomedical significance, and translational relevance against Nature's rigorous standards. Covers scope, validation requirements (benchtop vs. clinical), structural guidelines, and official submission checklists for devices, biomaterials, and engineered systems.

This comprehensive guide helps authors assess the fit and rigor of their climate science manuscripts for Nature Climate Change. It covers scope boundaries, required methodological standards (e.g., attribution studies, causal inference), and structural advice for cross-disciplinary communication. Use it when targeting this prestigious venue or needing to re-frame your work for maximum impact.
