Skill UI

A comprehensive coach designed to guide students and researchers through the entire scholarly writing lifecycle. This skill covers structuring complex academic works—including research papers (IMRaD), theses, dissertations, grant proposals, and conference abstracts. It teaches fundamental writing principles, proper source integration, avoiding plagiarism, and navigating diverse citation styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, GB/T 7714), helping users develop an independent, professional academic voice.

Verifies every bibliographic citation in a paper: it must truly exist, match canonical metadata, and support the claim it is cited for. Catches hallucinated authors, wrong years, fabricated venues, phantom DOIs, and wrong-context citations. Run once before submission to guarantee bibliography integrity.

This comprehensive workflow guides the implementation of a complete Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using Cohere's core services. It demonstrates the full process: embedding documents, searching for relevant context, reranking results for precision, and finally generating a grounded answer with precise citations using the Chat API. Ideal for building knowledge-intensive, enterprise-grade Q&A systems.

This comprehensive guide demonstrates how to implement robust, real-time streaming UIs using Cohere's `chatStream` method. It details handling various event types, including content deltas, citation information for RAG, and structured tool call streams. A practical example is provided for creating a Server-Sent Events (SSE) endpoint, making it ideal for front-end integration with advanced AI features.

This skill helps users submit products to startup, SaaS, AI, and review directories to build backlinks and improve domain rating. It ensures landing pages are optimized for AI citations and SEO before submission, focusing on positioning variations for different audiences to generate meaningful leads rather than vanity traffic.

Conduct comprehensive systematic literature reviews across biomedical and scientific domains using multiple academic databases. Synthesize findings, verify citations, and generate professional markdown or PDF documents. Includes AI-generated scientific schematics for visual enhancement. Ideal for research synthesis, meta-analyses, and thesis writing.

Search 18 scholarly APIs for papers, preprints, citations, open-access full text, repository records, and journal OA status with reproducible provenance.

This skill performs a structured Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing multiple academic papers on a given topic. It searches academic databases (like arXiv), extracts structured metadata (research questions, methodologies, key findings, limitations) from the entire set of papers, and synthesizes overarching themes and research trends. It is ideal for creating comprehensive literature surveys, annotated bibliographies, and cross-paper comparisons, outputting reports in professional citation formats like APA, IEEE, or BibTeX.

A powerful skill for searching and retrieving comprehensive academic metadata using the OpenAlex API. It provides a unified view of research papers, including full open citation graphs, detailed institutional affiliations, and crucial funding information (e.g., NSF, NIH). Ideal for deep academic research, comparative literature reviews, and identifying research trends across multiple disciplines.

Search, read, and monitor arXiv papers through a Model Context Protocol server. Supports abstracts, LaTeX source sections, citation graphs, local storage, and topic watches.

This end-to-end pipeline automates the conversion of a completed academic research paper into a full conference talk artifact. It generates a slide outline, Beamer source, editable PPTX, speaker notes, full script, and polished visuals. Critically, it includes rigorous assurance checks (citation, claim, anonymity) to ensure academic integrity, making the output suitable for top-tier conferences like NeurIPS or ICML. Use this when you need the complete, polished presentation package, not just a draft deck.

This skill addresses vague or ambiguous user requests by initiating a structured, multi-round questioning process. Instead of making assumptions, it systematically clarifies dimensions like audience, scope, tone, and format across several rounds (up to three). This structured approach ensures the resulting output is highly accurate and requires minimal revision cycles.
