Skill UI

This skill guides users on setting up automated code quality gates directly at the Git level. It covers best practices using frameworks like Husky, lint-staged, and pre-commit. Users can enforce linting, formatting, type-checking, and standardized commit message conventions (e.g., Conventional Commits) before code is committed or pushed, significantly improving code hygiene and development workflow consistency.

This skill safely stages, commits, and pushes Git changes using conventional commit messages. It activates when users explicitly request to push or save work remotely. It includes safety gates to inspect changes, check upstream branches, and respect protected branch policies. It ensures atomic updates and validates commit messages before pushing to the remote repository.

Designs email nurture and multi-touch sequences using commitment-pacing psychology: curiosity loops, reciprocity, gradual commitment, and one emotional job per message to build trust and prepare the next decision.

Rewrites commit messages to sound like a careful human engineer wrote them. Strips AI/marketing slop (e.g., 'comprehensive solution', 'robust implementation', 'leverage') while keeping Conventional Commits format. Ensures direct, specific, and imperative subject lines with optional context-rich body. Ideal for developers who want clean, professional git history without AI-generated jargon.

This skill generates conventional commit messages based on staged code changes. It analyzes the diff to determine the commit type (feat, fix, etc.) and creates an imperative subject line under 50 characters. It also drafts an optional body explaining the why behind the change. Useful for developers needing standardized commit logs without manually writing them.

Automatically reviews staged changes and drafts a Conventional Commits-compliant commit message with appropriate type, scope, and length. Use before committing or when asked to write, fix, or review a commit message. Matches repository history norms.

Commit Craft is a Git workflow tool that organizes mixed changes into logical, reviewable commits before pushing. It blocks secrets like .env files, lints commit messages against standards, and ensures each commit builds independently. Using Python scripts, it plans series, gates secrets, and validates messages without modifying the repository directly, enhancing code quality and security.
