This guide provides comprehensive best practices for packaging and documenting NLP research artifacts (datasets, models, prompts, etc.) for academic submission (e.g., NAACL/ARR). It emphasizes rigorous provenance tracing, ensuring reproducibility, and ethically handling sensitive data, particularly community-owned or indigenous language resources.

This guide details the critical process of transforming an accepted, anonymous conference paper into its final, published, open-access version for the ACL Anthology. It covers the essential 'three-source merge' process: integrating reviewer-promised revisions, restoring author identity and community acknowledgements, correcting metadata, and managing conference logistics. Essential reading for authors submitting to top-tier NLP venues like NAACL.

A comprehensive guide for NLP researchers to determine the ideal conference venue (NAACL, ACL, EMNLP, etc.) for their paper. It analyzes timing, target audience fit, and the unique regional focus of NAACL (Nations of the Americas) to ensure the work is submitted to the most appropriate and receptive community.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing accepted academic papers for artifact evaluation at major conferences (e.g., NSDI). It details how to package code, traces, and testbed recipes to ensure permanent public availability, achieve recognition badges (Functionality, Availability, Reproducibility), and meet community award criteria. Learn best practices for reproducibility and structured submission.

This comprehensive guide assists reviewers and authors in determining the most appropriate venue for programming language research within the SIGPLAN community. It provides a detailed 'center-of-mass' test, helping categorize contributions based on whether they emphasize metatheory (POPL), performance engineering (PLDI), functional techniques (ICFCP), or the broad design scope characteristic of OOPSLA. It guides the decision-making process for academic submissions.

This guide helps researchers determine if their problem constitutes a rigorous Operations Research (OR) or Management Science (MS) methodological contribution. It provides a comprehensive fit test covering method novelty, mathematical rigor (proofs, guarantees), and significance to the OR community. Furthermore, it guides users on selecting the precise editorial area (e.g., Optimization, Stochastic Models, Simulation) for submission.

This guide helps researchers determine the optimal venue (like POPL, PLDI, OOPSLA) for their academic papers on programming languages. It advises authors on whether their core contribution is theoretical (proofs, semantics), implementation-focused (compilers, benchmarks), or empirical (user studies), ensuring their work reaches the most appropriate specialized reviewer community.

This skill is a comprehensive guidance tool designed to help authors determine the suitability and required scope for submitting manuscripts to Reviews of Modern Physics (RMP). It outlines the journal's authoritative positioning, the necessary synthesis depth, expected structure (Colloquia vs. Reviews), and high academic bar, ensuring that submissions serve as definitive community references rather than primary research reports. Use this before submitting to check for conceptual fit and structural completeness.

This skill provides a detailed framework for researchers to determine the most suitable venue (e.g., RSS, ICRA, CoRL, IROS) for their robotics project paper. It teaches how to shift focus from merely demonstrating a system's capabilities to articulating a precise, testable scientific claim, ensuring the work is optimally presented to the target academic community.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for improving the reproducibility of academic network measurements and research artifacts, particularly for conferences like SIGCOMM. It details the necessary evidence map and the 'four ledgers'—topology, traffic, configuration, and run—to ensure that all reported claims can be accurately recreated and verified by the wider academic community.

This guide details the process for achieving the Graphics Replicability Stamp (GRSI) or Code Replicability in Computer Graphics (CRCG) recognition for accepted SIGGRAPH/TOG papers. Unlike standard artifact badging, this community effort verifies that a volunteer can successfully run the code and reproduce the paper's key results, covering necessary steps like ensuring determinism, packaging assets, and long-term archiving.

A comprehensive guide for packaging and submitting artifacts for Information Retrieval (IR) conferences (like SIGIR). It details the strict requirements for reproducibility, including mandatory components like TREC-format run files, qrels, and index recipes. The process covers repository structure, anonymization for review, handling data provenance, and ensuring that results can be audited by any reviewer using standard community tooling.
