Skill UI

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to top-tier electronics journals. It provides detailed methodologies on structuring experimental chapters, ensuring comparison fairness, achieving statistical rigor, and presenting reproducible results to withstand demanding peer review scrutiny.

This skill guides researchers on the mandatory, rigorous evaluation of complex systems models (e.g., AgSy). It details best practices for model validation, emphasizing the comparison of observed vs. simulated data using independent, held-out datasets. Key components covered include standard fit statistics (RMSE, NSE), sensitivity analysis (identifying core drivers), uncertainty propagation, and multi-objective trade-off/scenario analysis to ensure scientific credibility.

A detailed guide for authors writing the Related Work section of an Automated Software Engineering (ASE) paper. It teaches the crucial 'delta argument' methodology, emphasizing that positioning must be against prior automated tools, covering multiple SE literature lanes, and conducting fair, head-to-head empirical comparisons to clearly delineate the novelty of the proposed work.

A comprehensive guide for authors writing related work sections for top-tier systems conferences (e.g., ATC). It teaches how to accurately position a new system relative to existing literature, emphasizing delta-first comparisons, covering adjacent subareas, and adhering to strict double-blind citation protocols. Essential for academic rigor in systems research.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for statistical analysis and reporting in biological manuscripts, particularly in cancer research. It teaches researchers how to correctly define 'n' (distinguishing biological from technical replicates), select appropriate statistical tests (ANOVA, survival analysis, etc.), and manage multiple comparisons, ensuring high scientific rigor and reproducibility in published data.

A comprehensive guide on structuring and writing the 'Related Work' and literature review sections for high-impact, comprehensive computer science journals. It emphasizes establishing the research gap (the 'delta'), structuring comparisons (Classification-Comparison-Gap), balancing literature coverage (classic vs. modern, local vs. global), and adhering to academic citation norms (e.g., GB/T 7714). Essential for authors needing to clearly define their novelty in a cross-disciplinary context.

A comprehensive guide for structuring the algorithm section of academic papers. It details the crucial steps for deciding on the solution route—whether to use commercial solvers, exact algorithms, or meta-heuristics. It emphasizes the requirement for rigorous pseudo-code, property analysis, and multi-level baseline comparisons to prove algorithmic novelty and contribution.

This guide outlines the rigorous, model-based standards required for data analysis and statistical reporting in Cognitive Psychology manuscripts. It covers essential techniques such as model comparison (using AIC/BIC or Bayes factors), demonstrating parameter and model recovery, implementing mixed or hierarchical Bayesian models, and ensuring all findings are fully reproducible from shared code.

This guide provides a rigorous strategy for authors responding to major or minor revisions in cognitive psychology journals. It teaches how to systematically address every reviewer comment, strengthen model-driven inferences through techniques like model comparison and recovery analysis, and maintain the coherence and reproducibility of the theoretical argument. Essential reading for scholarly publication.

This comprehensive checklist guides authors through the final pre-submission review process for demanding academic journals. It ensures the manuscript is scientifically rigorous and complete, focusing on critical areas such as model-driven theoretical advancement, model comparison, data reproducibility (depositing code and verifying fit regeneration), and adherence to open science mandates. Use this guide before uploading to the journal's portal.

A detailed guide for authors structuring the 'Related Work' section of theoretical machine learning papers. It shifts focus from qualitative prose to quantitative comparison, instructing users to build explicit tables comparing prior bounds versus new bounds, and systematically covering diverse literature lanes like complexity theory, statistics, and open problems to rigorously establish novelty.

This skill acts as an academic positioning tool for targeting high-level journals focused on institutional and economic comparison, such as the Comparative Economic and Social Systems journal. It helps users assess if their manuscript possesses the necessary comparative scope, institutional logic, and generalizable theoretical contribution required for acceptance, guiding manuscript reframing and submission strategy.
