Skill UI

This skill provides a rigorous framework for researchers to evaluate whether their cognitive science project is suitable for high-impact, theory-driven journals. It guides users to elevate their contribution from single-effect reports to multi-experiment programs, formal computational models, and substantial theoretical advances, ensuring the work meets the necessary standard of integrative scope.

A comprehensive guide detailing best practices for ensuring the reproducibility of computational claims in Large Language Model (LLM) papers. It outlines a layered approach (Exact, Budgeted, Drifting) for verifying results, providing protocols for handling open-weight checkpoints, proprietary API models, and documenting compute costs and failure modes honestly.

A comprehensive guide for positioning Natural Language Processing (NLP) research papers for the Conference on Computational Natural Language Learning (CoNLL). It helps authors optimize their manuscripts by focusing on conference fit, structuring evidence, identifying necessary baselines, and adapting the narrative for a selective CS conference audience. Essential for submission strategy and manuscript re-framing.

A comprehensive guide for designing, auditing, and executing rigorous experimental programs for top-tier computer vision papers (e.g., CVPR). It covers essential scientific components, including establishing fair benchmarks, structured ablation studies, documenting failure modes, quantifying computational efficiency, and demonstrating cross-dataset generalization, ensuring the research is reproducible and robust.

A comprehensive pre-submission audit guide for authors submitting papers to EACL (Computational Linguistics). It covers critical areas such as adherence to format gates (8/4 content pages, required Limitations section), strict anonymity requirements, mandatory declarations (Responsible NLP, preprint status), and crucial advice regarding the single, non-fallback submission cycle. Use this before uploading to the ACL Rolling Review cycle.

This guide provides a comprehensive strategy for authors submitting NLP and Computational Linguistics papers to EACL. It covers conference positioning, manuscript re-framing from journal or arXiv styles, and establishes rigorous evidence standards. It helps authors ensure their work aligns with the European ACL community focus, optimizing the paper's narrative structure for high acceptance rates.

Guides authors on meeting the rigorous transparency standards required by the European Sociological Review (ESR). It details how to prepare a Data Availability Statement (DAS) and a replication package for statistical and computational manuscripts. The guide covers everything from documenting data sources and versions to handling restricted administrative data, ensuring that the research process is fully reproducible and traceable.

This guide is designed for authors targeting top-tier journals like Foundations of Computational Mathematics (FoCM). It outlines the journal's high academic standards, requiring deep mathematical rigor, established theorems, and proofs (e.g., convergence, complexity bounds) at the math-computation interface. It emphasizes theoretical foundations over empirical results, making it ideal for advanced research in numerical analysis, optimization theory, and computational geometry.

Provides rigorous guidelines for analyzing experimental game data and constructing numerical examples for high-level theoretical journals. Emphasizes that analysis must be tightly linked to theoretical claims, such as matching observed outcomes to predicted equilibria, rather than serving as general causal evidence. Covers session-level clustering, structural fitting, and ensuring computational reproducibility.

This skill guides authors in determining the suitability of their manuscripts for the journal Genome Biology. It details the journal's scope, which requires integrating large-scale genomic or epigenomic data with novel computational methods or statistical frameworks. It emphasizes that successful submissions must provide both methodological advances and meaningful biological insights, adhering strictly to standards like open-source code, public data deposition (GEO, SRA, ENCODE), and rigorous benchmarking.

A comprehensive guide for researchers preparing academic artifacts for voluntary, post-acceptance evaluation (e.g., HPCA). It outlines best practices for structuring submissions for cold-start evaluators, defining reproducibility tiers (full reproduction, regeneration from logs, inspection), and managing computational budgets to successfully earn IEEE reproducibility badges.

This guide outlines the rigorous methodology for ensuring that computational research results, especially those involving hardware architecture and simulation, are fully reproducible. It emphasizes pinning the entire result chain—from simulator commits and configuration files to workloads, sampling recipes, and statistics scripts—and mandates creating a manifest for every figure. Key practices include recording machine state for silicon runs and containerizing the environment to prevent data drift.
