This guide provides comprehensive, actionable methods to audit and significantly reduce Supabase operational costs. It covers advanced database tuning (vacuuming, index cleanup, bloat management), efficient storage lifecycle management, connection pooling strategies, and optimal plan selection. Use this when analyzing high billing reports, identifying resource waste, or implementing robust cost-saving measures in a cloud environment.

This tool collects a comprehensive, redacted diagnostic bundle from a Supabase project. It systematically tests connectivity, authentication (Auth), Realtime capabilities, Storage buckets, and Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. The resulting archive is designed for sharing with support teams to accelerate troubleshooting of complex issues like connection failures or misconfigurations.

A comprehensive guide for structured incident response when a Supabase-backed application fails. This runbook guides users through triaging issues, verifying platform status, inspecting connection pools, debugging stuck queries using pg_stat_activity, and analyzing Edge Function logs. Essential for root cause analysis and escalating issues to support.

This comprehensive guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up a complete connection to a Supabase backend. It covers installing the necessary SDKs (for TypeScript and Python) and the CLI, securely configuring environment variables (URL, anon key, service role key), and initializing the client singleton for both client-side and server-side applications. Essential for new project development and authentication integration.

A comprehensive guide detailing the most common and critical mistakes when developing with Supabase. Covers severe security issues (like exposing service role keys or missing RLS), data integrity failures, and performance bottlenecks (connection pooling, N+1 queries). Essential for code review, onboarding new developers, or auditing existing Supabase projects to ensure secure and robust applications.

Master advanced techniques for scaling Supabase projects to handle high production load. This skill covers six critical layers: implementing read replicas for analytics, optimizing connectivity using connection pooling (Supavisor), upgrading compute resources, utilizing CDN caching for Storage, deploying Edge Functions regionally, and performing database table partitioning. Ideal for engineers preparing for traffic spikes or optimizing large-scale database architectures.

This comprehensive guide provides systematic methods to optimize Supabase query and database performance. Techniques cover PostgreSQL indexing (basic, composite, partial), using EXPLAIN ANALYZE for query plan analysis, optimizing client calls (column selection, pagination), and managing infrastructure resources like connection pooling. Use this when facing slow queries, high latency, or preparing a project for production-scale traffic.

This skill provides comprehensive performance optimization and best practices for PostgreSQL, maintained by Supabase. It guides users on optimizing database performance, covering critical areas such as writing efficient SQL queries, designing robust schemas, implementing proper indexing, managing connection pooling, and enforcing Row-Level Security (RLS).

This comprehensive checklist guides the secure deployment and hardening of a Supabase project for production use. It covers critical security measures such as enforcing Row Level Security (RLS), separating client and service keys, optimizing connection pooling via Supavisor, setting up Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) backups, and configuring network restrictions. Use this guide before launching or for conducting security audits to ensure maximum stability and security.

A comprehensive guide for managing resource limits and quotas across all Supabase services (API, Auth, Storage, Realtime, Edge Functions). Learn how to understand tier-specific limits, configure connection pooling using Supavisor (Transaction/Session mode), and implement robust retry logic with exponential backoff to gracefully handle 429 rate limiting errors, ensuring high application reliability.
