A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to the American Journal of Sociology (AJS). It outlines best practices for data documentation, ensuring research provenance, and ethically sharing findings in both quantitative and ethnographic contexts. It emphasizes creating a thorough, checkable evidentiary trail appropriate to the claim, while clarifying AJS's non-mandatory policy on replication deposits and adherence to confidentiality standards.

This guide details the strict data and transparency policy required by the American Political Science Review (APSR). It outlines how to build a comprehensive reproducibility package—including raw data, master scripts, and detailed documentation—to allow the journal to verify that all reported tables and figures can be regenerated before publication. It covers quantitative methods, qualitative evidence sharing, and necessary exemption procedures.

This guide outlines rigorous standards for conducting heterogeneity analysis in economic research. It stresses that heterogeneity should not merely involve slicing data by region or size, but must be theoretically driven, linking multiple dimensions (e.g., ownership, financing constraints, industry type) to core economic mechanisms. The analysis must demonstrate significant group differences and clearly connect findings to differential policy implications, elevating the discussion from mere observation to actionable policy science.

This guide provides a rigorous framework for designing and interpreting quantitative case studies in academic manuscripts. It instructs authors on justifying parameter sources (real data, literature, policy), structuring comprehensive experiment matrices (effectiveness, sensitivity, boundaries, context), and moving beyond mere result description to deep mechanism-based analysis.

A comprehensive guide for preparing data-availability statements, shareable data, and reproducible code for conservation biology manuscripts. It outlines best practices for using persistent identifiers (like Dryad or Zenodo), masking sensitive species locations, and documenting full research provenance to meet journal standards.

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for positioning and refining academic manuscripts intended for the 'Contemporary Economy of Japan' journal. It specializes in comparative economics, focusing on Japanese macroeconomics, Sino-Japanese trade, regional cooperation, and policy implications for China's development. It guides users on meeting specific structural requirements, theoretical depth, and evidence standards (e.g., country data, comparative framework).

This comprehensive guide outlines best practices for packaging and releasing scientific artifacts—including code, training configurations, demonstration data, and policy checkpoints—for robotics research papers. It details how to prepare materials for anonymous reviewer assessment and for durable public release, ensuring the work is fully reproducible by the academic community.

This specialized tool guides users in drafting and refining academic abstracts for top-tier finance and economics journals, such as CTE. It enforces strict structural rules, including the five-sentence pattern, and mandates the inclusion of quantified findings, specific data sources (CSMAR, WIND, etc.), and clear mechanisms, while eliminating vague, boilerplate policy language.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing manuscripts for submission to The Economic Journal (EJ). It covers format requirements, single-blind review guidelines, author-date referencing, JEL codes, data/code policy (Zenodo), and the detailed submission process via Editorial Express. Use this checklist for the final mechanical gate check before submission.

This guide outlines the creation of a complete, verifiable research package for economic policy manuscripts. It ensures that all empirical, experimental, or simulation results are fully reproducible by providing raw data guides, cleaning scripts, analysis code, and a single 'master' script that runs end-to-end. This process is critical for academic acceptance, allowing reviewers and discussants to independently verify every figure, table, and key number reported in the paper.

This guide teaches how to restructure complex econometric tables and figures for manuscripts intended for a dual audience of professional economists and non-technical policymakers. The focus is on clarity, interpretability, and impact, ensuring that the main text presents policy-relevant findings (e.g., event studies, welfare decomposition) while relegating dense technical details (full regression dumps, diagnostics) to the appendix. It emphasizes translating standard coefficients into meaningful units like jobs or % of GDP.

This guide details the requirements for creating a comprehensive replication package for manuscripts submitted to Econometric Society journals. It ensures full reproducibility of all results, including code, data provenance, and parameter settings, adhering to the journal's Data and Code Availability Policy. Key components include a master script, reproducible data, and detailed documentation.
