Provides a comprehensive guide to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE) submission process. It details the three distinct submission routes—Full-length, Short-paper, and Pre-results Review—helping researchers choose the optimal path based on their research design, whether they have a sharp finding, a prospective RCT, or extensive theory. Covers review standards, timelines, and submission caps.

A comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE) via Editorial Manager. This guide ensures compliance with route-specific limits (e.g., short-paper caps, full-length requirements), data replication readiness, single-anonymized review standards, and adherence to journal policies (e.g., language consistency, submission caps). Use it as the final check before submission.

This guide provides best practices for presenting empirical results in development economics, emphasizing a 'figure-forward' approach suitable for top-tier journals. It teaches researchers how to transform complex statistical models (like DID, RDD, and ITT) into clear, self-contained, and impactful visual exhibits (plots and maps). The goal is to ensure that the headline findings are immediately legible to expert referees, moving beyond traditional, complex coefficient tables.

This guide helps researchers rigorously vet their academic questions against the standards of top-tier development economics journals. It teaches users to identify 'first-order' issues focused on low- and middle-income economies, ensuring the research mechanism genuinely contributes to understanding poverty, growth, and policy levers for poor populations, rather than merely being a general micro-economic result.

This router serves as a comprehensive guide for authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE). It does not replace any specialized skill but diagnoses the current stage of the research and identifies the optimal next step—whether it involves refining the contribution framing, strengthening the causal identification, structuring figures, or preparing a rebuttal letter. Use it when you are unsure how to proceed.

A specialized structural review pass designed to polish academic manuscripts for top development economics journals like the Journal of Development Economics (JDE). It guides authors to ensure the narrative emphasizes the core development question, quantifies findings with magnitudes, and clearly articulates policy implications for development policymakers and academic readers.

This comprehensive guide outlines the rigorous methodology required for empirical and theoretical growth studies, particularly for high-impact journals like JEG. It covers best practices for cross-country panel data analysis, calibration techniques, spatial inference (Conley SEs), and structuring robust manuscripts. Use this checklist when estimating growth outcomes, simulating transition paths, or conducting deep sensitivity analyses for development economics.

A comprehensive guide for polishing academic manuscripts intended for the Journal of Economic Growth (JEG). It instructs authors on structuring arguments around core growth mechanisms, translating raw econometric coefficients into meaningful growth language (e.g., convergence, productivity), and applying specific metadata and citation standards (APA, JEL codes) required by top-tier journals in development economics.

This comprehensive guide helps researchers move beyond descriptive correlations to build rigorous, theory-driven manuscripts for top-tier IS journals. It outlines how to structure theoretical arguments based on specific research styles, including IT business value mechanisms, platform economics, behavioral models, and economic incentives, emphasizing the derivation of hypotheses and comparative statics before empirical testing.

This router is designed to guide authors through the entire lifecycle of a manuscript intended for the Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS). It helps diagnose current bottlenecks and determines the optimal next step, covering topics from initial idea fit and theory development to methodology, data analysis, writing refinement, and submission/rebuttal preparation. It is tailored to JMIS’s specific focus on the management and economics of IS.

A comprehensive skill for authors targeting top development economics journals (like JDE). It guides the framing and methodological rigor of micro-development work, covering requirements for credible identification (RCTs, natural experiments), structuring the 'external lesson,' and adhering to modern academic publishing standards. Use this when refining a field experiment or policy paper for publication.

This guide helps authors assess the suitability of their manuscript for the Journal of Economic Geography (JoEG). It is a comprehensive tool for interdisciplinary papers spanning spatial economics, regional development, and cluster analysis. It covers academic fit, methodological rigor (including spatial inference), structural requirements, and common rejection pitfalls, helping authors effectively re-frame their work for target academic venues.
