This guide assists authors targeting the ACM SIGMOD conference. It provides expert advice on positioning, framing, and structuring database systems papers. It emphasizes strong algorithmic or systems contributions, realistic workloads, and necessary evidence, while also advising on routing relative to similar venues like VLDB and ICDE.

This guide details how the journal Agricultural Systems (AgSy) evaluates manuscripts, covering the single anonymized peer review process, desk screening criteria, and expert reviewer expectations. It helps authors pre-empt common rejection points related to systems thinking, model rigor, and decision relevance before formal submission.

This guide provides expert principles for designing and auditing system-level experiments in computer architecture (e.g., for ASPLOS-level conferences). It details the proper usage of various instruments—from real silicon and FPGAs to cycle-level simulators and analytical models—ensuring that every claim is matched to a valid, stated error model. It emphasizes workload selection, establishing strong baselines, performing rigorous ablation studies, and honestly reporting measurement noise and limitations to maintain scientific credibility.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to determine the optimal venue for their computer systems paper. It teaches the critical differences between broad, practical conferences (like ATC) and selective, specialized venues (like OSDI, SOSP, or NSDI). The guide helps authors assess whether their work is novel, useful, focused on deployed experience, or requires specific networking/storage expertise.

This guide provides an expert methodology for designing and auditing Natural Language Processing (NLP) experiments for top-tier academic submissions. It instructs researchers on how to map meta-review claims to measurable evidence, ensure budget-fair comparisons, and systematically address potential reviewer probes (scope, fairness, contamination, etc.) to maximize publication rigor.

This comprehensive guide provides expert methodologies for authors writing the 'Related Work' section for top-tier networked systems research papers (e.g., NSDI, SIGCOMM, OSDI). It details the required literature coverage gaps, strategic positioning techniques (e.g., delta by mechanism), academic verification protocols, and double-blind submission rules necessary to ensure the work is academically rigorous and highly competitive.

This guide provides expert advice on structuring the "Related Work" section for top-tier systems conferences (like OSDI, SOSP, NSDI). It emphasizes that the section must function as a "difference ledger," detailing the mechanism-level distinctions between your proposed system and all prior art. Learn how to categorize competitors, cite historical ancestors, manage anonymity, and rigorously verify all venue citations to maximize impact.

A comprehensive guide detailing the rigorous standards required for submitting parallel programming research to top-tier academic venues. It covers crucial topics such as proving concurrency correctness, demonstrating measurable scalability using speedup curves, adhering to strict formatting (10 pages, two-column layout), and structuring the technical contribution to satisfy expert reviewers.

This skill guides the structure and prose for drafting high-level integrative reviews, particularly for publications like the Psychological Bulletin. It ensures the manuscript moves beyond descriptive annotation to become a rigorous, evaluative synthesis. Users must comply with APA 7th edition style and specific reporting standards (MARS for meta-analyses, PRISMA for systematic reviews, and JARS for quantitative work). It provides detailed guidance on structuring the abstract (≤ 250 words), the method section, results, and discussion to meet expert reviewer expectations.

This comprehensive guide outlines best practices for designing data systems evaluations, ensuring results are robust, reproducible, and convincing to expert reviewers. It covers workload realism, baseline fairness, necessary ablation studies, and advanced metric visualization techniques (e.g., sweeping curves, failure analysis) required for top-tier data systems research.

This guide provides expert advice on structuring and writing the 'Related Work' section for top-tier systems conferences (like SOSP/OSDI). It emphasizes shifting from simple citation lists to structural positioning, requiring authors to identify precise differences (e.g., assumption, mechanism, guarantee) between their work and existing research. It also covers academic lineage tracing, double-blind citation rules, and handling concurrent work.

This detailed guide helps researchers determine the optimal top-tier venue (e.g., USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, ACM CCS) for their security research paper. It emphasizes that venue selection must be based on the committee's core expertise and the existence of reusable artifacts, measurements, or systems evidence, ensuring the work has the necessary technical depth to succeed.
