This guide provides an expert framework for advanced econometric analysis, focusing on establishing causal inference in fields like finance and trade. It details best practices for quasi-experimental designs (DID, IV, RDD, DML) and rigorously addresses common endogeneity issues such as policy bias, reverse causality, and anticipation effects, ensuring robust research methodology.

This guide provides detailed structural and content requirements for drafting a literature review intended for the Finance & Trade Economics (CTE) journal. It emphasizes shifting from a mere listing of studies to a 'dialogue-based' discussion, balancing international theory with localized Chinese empirical research and institutional context. Key focus areas include the three-layer structure, source balance, and differentiating the paper's unique contribution.

This guide provides rigorous methodologies for conducting mechanism analysis in empirical economics, particularly for submissions to finance and trade journals. It teaches how to open the 'policy black box' by identifying measurable, causal channels (e.g., changes in firm investment, credit flow, or government expenditure) that explain the relationship between a policy shock and an outcome. It covers mediation/moderation techniques and sub-sample comparisons.

A specialized guide for structuring the policy implications section of high-level finance and trade economics manuscripts. It teaches authors how to move beyond vague suggestions, anchoring policy recommendations in concrete Chinese fiscal, financial, or trade policy tools, and linking them directly to the paper's empirical evidence and mechanisms.

This skill guides authors in refining academic manuscripts for top-tier finance and economics journals. It focuses on eliminating empty rhetoric, replacing vague policy jargon, structuring arguments with clear topic sentences, and ensuring methodological and economic interpretations are precise, actionable, and grounded in observable mechanisms.

This preflight checklist guides authors through the rigorous preparation required before submitting manuscripts to high-level academic journals, such as Finance & Trade Economics. It covers formatting standards, word count compliance, maintaining anonymity for blind review, proper citation practices, verifying data source rigor, and ensuring all required supplementary files are included, significantly improving submission readiness.

Provides stringent guidelines for formatting tables and figures in high-level economics and finance manuscripts. Covers mandatory three-line table styles, column count limits, rigorous variable definition requirements (including naming specific databases), data source transparency, and professional figure generation techniques (e.g., 300 dpi, proper event study plots).

A detailed guide designed for researchers targeting top-tier economics journals, such as Finance & Trade Economics (CTE). It systematically helps users refine their manuscript by checking four critical areas: scope fit (fiscal, tax, trade, consumption), theoretical grounding, measurable marginal contributions, and appropriate journal matching. This ensures the research meets the high standards required for publication.

This workflow acts as a sophisticated router for academic manuscripts targeting high-level Chinese journals, specifically focusing on Finance and Trade Economics. It guides users through the entire writing lifecycle—from initial topic selection and literature review to rigorous econometrics (DID/IV/RDD), mechanism testing, and policy implication phrasing. When unsure of the next step or stuck on a bottleneck (e.g., weak identification, generic policy statements), it diagnoses the issue and directs the user to the most relevant specialized skill.

This comprehensive guide assists authors targeting the journal "Economic Problems." It covers the journal's academic scope, preferred topics (regional economy, finance, industrial policy), rigorous academic requirements, structural guidelines, common rejection pitfalls, and overall submission flow, helping authors optimize their manuscript for maximum fit.

This comprehensive routing skill guides users through the complex process of selecting the most appropriate English-language academic journal for their manuscript. It acts as a high-level meta-guide, moving beyond single-journal profiles. Users classify their work based on its contribution type (e.g., causal effect, new theory), methodological shape (e.g., structural, field experiment), target discipline (e.g., finance, marketing), and ultimate submission goal (e.g., top-5 venue). It provides actionable advice for re-framing and optimizing fit.

It details the journal's disciplinary scope (finance, regional, public finance), required manuscript structure, adherence to formatting rules (keywords, references), and common pitfalls to avoid. It acts as a pre-submission checklist to improve manuscript fit and increase acceptance chances.
